Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah written update June 18, 2019: Water problems at Gokuldham society continue
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how the Gokuldham residents battle water problems in the society
The episode starts with Taarak Mehta telling Bapuji that there is not a single drop of water in the overhead tank. Taarak Mehta tells him that they are going to the pump house to check for faults there. Iyer decides to call his work and tell them he'll be late. They all reach the pump house and see that it is locked. They all tell Sodhi to break the lock. Just then Abdul comes there. He gives an explanation as to why his phone was switched off and his store was closed. They ask him to open the door to the pump house. Sodhi asks him if he had switched on the pump to which Abdul says that it's the first thing he does in the morning. Everyone finally gets in the pump room. They notice that the valve is on but the switch is off. Abdul confirms that he had switched on the pump. Popatlal says that it's an automated switch which trips if there is a fault. They switch on the pump and it switches off by itself.
Taarak Mehta checks in the tank and confirms there is no water in it. They all conclude that it's a problem at municipality's end as they haven't supplied water. They all go out and meet the ladies. They tell the ladies that there was no water supplies by municipality. The ladies express concern over it as their daily chores are impacted. Popatlal gets angry with Bhide that he's not available during this situation. Taarak Mehta says that he needs to go to work else his pay will be deducted. Just then Bhide arrives and he's swarmed by the members. They all ask him why was he not answering phone calls. He tells them that he had gone to the temple hence he could not answer phone calls and Madhavi had left her phone at home. He tells them that he's aware of the water problem in the society and tells them that the entire area is experiencing the issue. He shows them a video which has caused the water shortage. Popatlal keeps blaming the government or the supply department. Bhide tells him that the government has already stated repairs. They all tell him how their life has come to a halt because of water shortage. He tells them that they should have kept some water stored for emergencies. Anjali tells him that if they had an idea that there will be water shortage they would have kept it stored. Taarak tells him to call municipality and check with them when the repair will be completed. Bhide tells them that the number is stored in a diary which is society office.
They all rush to the society office and Bhide calls the municipal office. Their number is engaged. They all decide to go to Taarak Mehta's residence and think of a solution. They call from there and the lady at the municipal department tells them that the pipeline will be fixed tonight and then they will get Water. They all panic. The lady assures them that the government has arranged for water tankers. She assures that the water tankers will be provided soon. Madhavi says that there is some water in the tank at their house so the ones pending to take a bath can go to their place for bath. They all decide to fill buckets from Bhide's place and go to their respective houses and take a bath else it will consume a lot of time. Taarak also leaves for work. Bhide calls to check on the status of the water tanker. Bhide tells Madhavi that she has a rest day as she doesn't have to bother about washing clothes or dishes. Just then the gents of the society comes with buckets to get water for bath. Bhide returns with just two buckets of water. All the gents are tense.
