Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Written Update June 17, 2019: Water cut at Gokuldham
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how the Gokuldham residents are helpless without water in their houses
The episode starts with Jethalal rushing to the airport when he is stopped by Iyer. He pleads before Iyer to let him go. Finally he punches Iyer and Popatlal and escapes from there. They wonder why there is no water in the society. Iyer is concerned about washing his hair. Babita thinks Abdul must have forgotten to switch on the water pump. Popatlal goes to call Abdul however finds the store closed. They try calling him however his phone is unreachable. They decide to call Bhide. Popatlal calls out his name but he doesn't come instead Sodhi comes out. Sodhi says he will get Bhide and come. Meanwhile they continue calling out to Bhide, hearing this Bapuji comes out and is shocked to see Iyer. Iyer tells him that he has applied Turmeric and curd to make his hair silky. Bapuji tells them that Jethalal had to go to Iyer's place to take a bath. Iyer complains to him that he used the water that he had reserved for his bath. Bapuji tells them that he's coming down and just then Taarak Mehta comes out hearing the commotion. Anjali says that they have water at their place.
Iyer and Popatlal complain that Bhide is not answering. Sodhi says that Bhide's house has a lock. Sodhi also asks Iyer what happened to his hair. Iyer gets annoyed and says he will put a board round his neck stating that he has applied turmeric and curd to make his hair silky and that Jethalal used the water he had kept for his bath. Bapuji comes down and warns Iyer of not blaming Jethalal. Iyer apologises to Bapuji and tells him that Jethalal has fooled him. Taarak Mehta suggests Iyer to take a bath at his house. Just as Iyer enters their bathroom he slips and falls. Iyer tells Taarak Mehta that they should not have the floor wet. They check on him if he's not hurt or injured. Iyer notices that there is no water at their house too. He calls Taarak Mehta and tells him that he too fooled him that Jethalal. Taarak says that he took a bath in the morning hence he's not lying. All three go out of the house and Babita asks Iyer why he hasn't taken a bath. Iyer tells them that there is no water at Taarak Mehta's house too. Bapuji think of checking with Dr. Haathi. Dr. Haathi is shaving and suddenly the water goes away. He calls out to Komal to let her know about the water stopping. The rest of the members call him out. They all discuss and want a solution for this water dilemma.
They suggest Iyer to take a bath using drinking water at home. Taarak Mehta is about to leave for work when all of them ask him to take a day off and be with them in this situation. He says he cannot take a leave as he has important work. Just then he gets a call from his boss's secretary that he has a meeting to attend. The secretary tells him that she will try to convince the boss for his late coming. They all go up in the terrace to check the water tank there. They find the terrace locked and Sodhi says he can break the lock. He is stopped by Popatlal and Taarak Mehta. Popatlal tells them that Iyer has a spare key to the terrace. They call him and ask him to get the key. He gets a bunch of keys. Taarak Mehta is able to open the lock and get in the terrace. They find no water in the overhead tank. They decide to check the pump room to find any faults.
