Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Written Update, October 30, 2019: Gokuldham residents celebrate Diwali
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see how the Gokuldham residents celebrate Diwali in grand style and enjoy snacks made by Daya.
The episode starts with a recap of what happened in the previous episode. Bapuji gives a reward to everyone as a Diwali ritual. Anjali asks the kids to keep the reward safe as it's auspicious. Jethalal asks Bapuji to pray to Goddess to get the laxmi of the house back. Bapuji tells him that he has spoken to Daya and she has confirmed that she will return soon. Jethalal says that even he was told the same. Bapuji asks Tappu to get sweets for everyone. Jethalal tells them that now they will be served Gujrati snacks. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the snacks. Jethalal says that Daya has made it herself and sent it from Ahmedabad. Everyone is seen enjoying the snacks. Jethalal says that he needs to go to the store. Jethalal calls Nattu Kaka. Bagha and Nattu Kaka decide to play a prank. Jethalal calls Bagha. Even he plays the same prank. Jethalal calls on the store landline phone.
Jethalal thinks that his phone is faulty. Bagha wonders if Jethalal will be angry with them for playing the prank. Nattu Kaka asks him to relax and follow the plan. Jethalal enters the store and he is stopped at the entrance by Nattu Kaka. Bagha welcomes Jethalal in a grand style. Jethalal wishes them both for the new year. Nattu Kaka gets a call and he speaks to the caller and Jethalal wonders how is he speaking without any problems. Nattu Kaka reveals that they played a prank. Jethalal says that the first day of the year needs to do big business. A garbage collector arrives asking for Diwali bonus. Bagha tells him to think positive for a positive outcome. Another lady arrives asking for a Diwali bonus.
Another man arrives asking for Diwali bonus who is from the postal department. Jethalal asks if anyone nowadays uses the postal service. The post man tells him that he is the one who delivers the correspondence to him each month. Jethalal says that by evening his wallet will be empty if this continues. Bagha asks him to stay positive. Jethalal mistakes the next person who walks in to be someone asking for Diwali bonus again. The man clarifies that he's looking for a new home theatre system for his house. Jethalal apologizes to him and welcomes him. Jethalal promises to give him good discount since he's the first customer of the new year. Bagha starts to celebrate on their first transaction of the new year
