Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah May 23, 2019 Written Update: Gokuldham members troubled by milk price increase
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how all the members of the Gokuldham society react to the hike in price of milk and cite possible solutions to deal with it
The episode starts with Roshan questioning the bill produced by Abdul and thinks that the charges for milk have hiked. Abdul says that the price for milk has increased by Rs 5. Sodhi is trying to defend Abdul however Roshan tells Abdul that he should inform in advance. Roshan says that they consume a lot of milk and milk products hence it's important to let them know of the price increase. Sodhi says that he is not bothered of the price change. Roshan tells Abdul to deliver less milk at their house however Sodhi tells him to continue with the same quantity. Roshan tells Sodhi in a stern tone that the price has increased and also asks Abdul if he has hiked the prices and not the manufacturer. Abdul denies increasing the prices. Roshan asks Abdul suspiciously if they can trust him.
Sodhi says that he has made a mistake and won't do it again. Abdul leaves their house and Roshan tells Sodhi not to interfere in her household decisions. She tells Sodhi that they should look for a different supplier. Abdul is thinking to himself about the taunts he had to hear from Bhide and Sodhi for the price increase. He wonders how Dr. Haathi will react. He enters the house and is offered sweets made by Komal. He hands over the bill to Komal and she also gets upset knowing the increase in prices. She talks about controlling the consumption of milk and says that she won't make any milk sweets here on. Dr. haathi and Goli gets worried hearing that there won't be any more milk sweets. Komal tells Abdul that she will get black coffee for him however he escapes from there. Next he heads to Taarak Mehta's house. Even Anjali has the same complain that they were not told about the increase in price. Abdul assures them that he hasn't increased the prices.
Anjali tells Taarak that they will have to reduce the consumption of milk. They blame the government for inflation. Anjali tells Abdul to stop delivery of milk. She tells them about 3 benefits of not consuming milk. Taarak denies and says he needs milk tea. She tells him that she needs to manage the finances. Taarak gets upset and tells her to stop visiting the beauty parlour to cut down the costs. She gets upset and goes in the bedroom. Iyer is laughing looking at his phone and Babita is curious to know what's making him laugh. They share the joke and the message behind the joke. Just then Abdul arrives there and hands over the bill to Babita. He tells her upfront of the increase in price. She gets shocked to see the amount by which the price has increased and says that she didn't expect it to increase by Rs 5. They tell him to inform them well in advance of the price changes. Iyer points out the reason for the price increase to be global warming and gives possible solutions too.
Popatlal tries to workout thinking that women like men with a maintained body. He thinks he will have milk and try again tomorrow. Just then Abdul comes there. He hands over the bill and Popatlal gets upset seeing the bill. He also is upset about not being informed of the price change in advance. Popatlal says he would have got the price in control had he known of the price increase. Jethalal and Tappu are playing with a ball. While they are playing the ball hits Bapuji and he falls. They both rush to help him. Bapuji says that he is strong and can't be hurt by a ball. Abdul heads towards Jethalal's house.
