Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah July 31, 2019 Written Update: The search for Bapuji's kidnappers continue
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see how the Gokuldham members team up to search for the van in which Bapuji was abducted.
The episode starts with a recap of what happened in the previous episode. The constable tells them that he has shown them all the footage but they don't have information about the van. Jethalal again gets a call from an unknown number. He answers the call and the caller tells him that he needs money the same day. On talking further Jethalal gets to know it is Makhijani. Chalu Pandey takes the phone and warns him not to call from unknown numbers as Jethalal is dealing with a bigger problem. Jethalal asks Chalu Pandey to help find the van using his experience. Sodhi tells them that they can find the van if there are any marks or stickers on it. They see the footage again and Chalu Pandey points out a sticker and quote on the van. Chalu Pandey tells the others that they have found clues to the kidnappers. He tells the ladies and Bagha what they found on the van. Popatlal tells that they will help by watching the CCTV footage of all the stores in the area to pin point the van's route.
Chalu Pandey declines the help saying that police is a public servant and not the other way around. The ladies request Chalu Pandey to accept their help. Bhide thanks Chalu Pandey for his help. Tappu Sena arrives there and ask if they got information on Bapuji. They all agree to help on finding Bapuji. There is a search operation around the city. They get into the vehicles and go on their way to search for the van. They all reach the place where they saw the van in the footage. Chalu Pandey tells that they will now search for the footage from the nearby stores. Bagha tells them that he is sure the kidnappers would have taken a left from that signal as there is a dirty sewage which matches the dirty mentality of the kidnappers. They form teams and split into different directions to check the CCTV footage. Chalu Pandey notices that not all stores have CCTV cameras. Iyer generalises that all store owners don't have CCTV cameras.
Jethalal snaps back saying that his store has a CCTV camera. Chalu Pandey notices a CCTV camera outside a jewelry store. Popatlal says that if the marriage bureaus has searched for a girl as dedicatedly as the police search for criminals then he would have gotten married by now. Bhide suggests Popatlal that he should not waste money on marriage bureau and should approach police to search for a bride for him. They see a puncture shop and decide to ask him for information. The shopkeeper agrees to have seen a red van. But he says that he's sight is weak because he's broken his spectacles. Popatlal gets annoyed and they leave from there. Tappu is concerned however Sodhi assures him that they'll find the van. They approach a corn cob seller. He says that he did see a red vehicle however on probing they get to know that he's refering to a fire brigade. Sodhi gets annoyed at him however he's controlled by the others. Bagha hopes that Chalu Pandey and others have found some information on the van
