Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah July 30, 2019 Written Update: The tempo driver hadn't kidnapped Bapuji
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see that the tempo driver comes to the police station to apologize to Jethalal about his behaviour and pleads not guilty
The episode starts with a recap of what happened in the previous episode. Jethalal and Sodhi run and grab the tempo driver by his collar. Chalu Pandey decides to leave as he sees indiscipline in the police station again. Jethalal and Sodhi agree not to say or do anything and leave the decision to police. Chalu Pandey asks his constables to get him arrested when his parents and wife plead him to be guilty. Jethalal refuses to believe him. The driver swears on his parents that he hasn't abducted Bapuji. The driver tells him that he went to Gada electronics to apologize about the incident that happened in the morning. Bagha tells them that he had come to apologize with his parents however since Jethalal was not at the store Bagha got them at the police station. The driver's mother tells them that he is short tempered and he must have threatened out of anger. The driver says that he felt uneasy after he reached home.
The driver's father also apologizes to Jethalal for his behaviour. The driver explains that he was in a hurry and he had entered their society by mistake. He picked the fight as he was annoyed. Chalu Pandey asks the society members on what they think. The ladies express that they don't think the tempo driver has done the kidnapping. Jethalal also agrees he won't have done the kidnapping. The driver apologizes to everyone and he is forgiven. The driver is forgiven by Chalu Pandey and is asked to leave. Jethalal returns the key to the driver which he had taken in the morning. The driver prays that Bapuji is soon found. The society members are now concerned over who is the real kidnapper. Jethalal asks when will his team come up with the CCTV camera footage. Chalu Pandey thinks that the kidnapping could be done for ransom too.
He asks Jethalal if he got a call asking for ransom. Iyer says he wouldn't have received a call as he has switched off the phone and was celebrating. Jethalal explains the situation and Chalu Pandey tells him that he certainly get a call from the kidnappers. Just then Jethalal gets a call. Chalu Pandey asks him to answer the call and put it on speaker. The caller tells Jethalal that he wants money. Jethalal tells that he will whatever money he is asked for. He realizes that it is the supplier who was bothering them has called to ask for money. Jethalal tells him that he will get the money after 15 days and says not to trouble him. Chalu Pandey asks the constables whether the senior citizen kidnapping is related to this incident. Everyone gets tensed listening to this. Just then one of the constables gets the CCTV camera footage retrieved from the kidnapping site. They all watch the footage however do not get the van number. Popatlal makes a note of something in the video. It is found that he made a note of a marriage bureau. Jethalal tears the paper he made a note in anger. The ladies and Bagha anxiously wait outside at the police station
