Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah July 26, 2019 Written Update: Jethalal gets the news of Bapuji's abduction
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see how the society members are skeptical in telling Jethalal about Bapuji's abduction however they gather courage to do it and how Jethalal reacts to the situation.
The episode starts with a recap of the previous episode. The ladies wonder why everyone's phone at Jethalal's store is switched off. The gents return and tell them that they have enquired around however no one has seen the van. Just then Sodhi and Iyer arrive. Iyer asks where is Jethalal. Babita tells him that they're not able to connect with Jethalal. They speculate if Jethalal also has been kidnapped. The gents decide to go to the store to inform Jethalal. The gents discuss about the incident while on their way to Jethalal's store. The ladies continuously try to call Jethalal. Meanwhile at the godown, Nattu kaka, Bagha and Jethalal are having a blast with the pakora party. The gents reach the store and don't find anyone there. Just then Magan shows himself and tells them Jethalal is in the godown. They decide not to inform Jethalal directly that Bapuji has been kidnapped.
Magan runs to inform Jethalal about Bapuji's abduction however they all stop him. Iyer makes him understand that they cannot tell Jethalal directly as he may be traumatised. They all reach the godown and see Jethalal having pakoras. Popatlal asks him why are all the phones switched off. Nattu Kaka explains about the supplier who's insisting about the payment. Iyer tell him that they all have been trying to reach him. Jethalal asks them why were they trying to call him. Everyone is apprehensive about telling Jethalal about Bapuji's abduction. Finally Dr Haathi reveals the truth. Jethalal is stunned. Abdul describes the incident to Jethalal. Popatlal and Bhide inform Jethalal that the tempo driver must have kidnapped him. Jethalal gets annoyed with Bhide that Bapuji got kidnapped on his watch. Bhide explains to him that his jurisdiction is only till the society premise not beyond that.
Iyer blames Jethalal for what has happened. Jethalal accepts that it was his fault and he breaks down. Sodhi asks Bhide and Jethalal if they know anything about the tempo driver. Jethalal tells him that he had taken a picture of the tempo while he was leaving. Just then the supplier calls again however Jethalal blocks him and shows the picture to Sodhi. They are able to see the tempo number. They all leave and discuss about the kidnappers. Babita calls and they all say that they are going to the police station. The ladies also tell them that they will also reach the police station. They decide to inform everything to Chalu Pandey. Jethalal asks Sodhi to drive faster
