Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah July 25, 2019 Written Update: Bapuji gets abducted
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see how Bapuji is abducted from outside the society compound while Abdul attempts to follow the van however is unsuccessful.
The episode starts with recap of what happened in the previous episode. 4 men come in the godown. Bagha asks whom among the 4 is a tempo driver. Jethalal tells Bagha and Nattu Kaka that none of them is the one whom he fought with in the morning. Nattu Kaka asks them what is the reason for them coming here. One of them says that their boss will tell them. The boss comes who is a short person. Jethalal asks them why he's here. He tells them that he's come there to ask for contribution for Lord Ganesh festival. Jethalal happily gives the money to them. Bagha tells Jethalal that he was unnecessarily getting scared. Jethalal tells them that he was worried of damage to the goods in the godown and wasn't scared. Just then they get a call from the supplier who was asking for money repeatedly. Bagha asks Nattu Kaka to talk to him. Bagha answers the call and tells him that Jethalal isn't at the store and will have him call back. They get a call on the godown landline. Jethalal answers the call and it's Bapuji calling to check if he reached work safely. Bapuji explains to him that he should keep calm and not engage in a fight.
Bapuji tells him that he's going to see a friend who's unwell. Jethalal thinks that Bapuji is unnecessarily worried about him because of the fight. Bagha suggests to have pakoras to lift Jethalal's mood. Jethalal asks him to get it. Dr. Haathi, Popatlal and Bhide discuss whether the tempo driver will do any harm to Jethalal. Popatlal asks Bhide if he knows why the tempo driver had come to the building. Bhide says no one in the building had called for a tempo. They all disperse for their work. Bhide talks to his scooter and tells it not to worry. Bhide sees Bapuji going out and enquires where he's going. Bapuji tells him he's going to a friend's place. Bhide asks him to be careful and offers him to drop him at his friends place however Bapuji tells him that he can take care of himself. There are 4 men with masks waiting for Bapuji in a van. Bapuji meets Abdul on the way who offers to get him a rickshaw to which Bapuji denies and tells him that will take a rickshaw from outside the premises. The four men abduct Bapuji. Abdul runs behind the van however they escape.
Abdul calls Jethalal however he cannot get through. Jethalal gets a call from the supplier hence Nattu Kaka switches it off and disconnects the landline. He asks Bagha to switch off his phone too. Natuu Kaka switches off his phone and tells Jethalal that until their pakora party isn't over the phones will remain switched off. Abdul frantically tries to call Jethalal and runs towards the society. He calls out to all the members of the society. They all gather around and Abdul tells them that Bapuji has been abducted. They are shocked to know this. He describes the incident to them. Anjali tells them that she is sure it is the tempo driver behind this. Abdul tells Bhide that he could note the van number. Roshan suggests going to the police station. Bhide says they need inform Jethalal first. Abdul tells him that he's tried calling him but the phone was unreachable. Bhide tells him that they need to keep trying. Roshan and Babita call Sodhi and Iyer respectively. Abdul reenacts the incident to Popatlal and Bhide. They find Bapuji's footwear. They decide to enquire at the nearby stores. They don't get any information from the people nearby.
