Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah July 24, 2019 Written Update: The truck driver threatens Bapuji and Jethalal

The episode starts with a recap of the previous episode. The truck driver threatens him to which Jethalal tells him that he can do whatever he feels like. Bhide and Dr. Haathi tell the driver to apologize, take the keys and leave. Popatlal threatens to call the police to which the driver says that it wasn't his mistake hence he won't apologize and they can call the police if they want to. Iyer asks Jethalal to apologize to which Jethalal says it wasn't his mistake. The driver starts the tempo and drives away threatening Jethalal and Bapuji of physical injury. Everyone chases him while drives away. They wonder who the driver was and why was he in the society compound. Iyer tells Jethalal that he unnecessarily got into a fight. Jethalal surprised to know that him getting hit by the truck was acceptable to him. Iyer says that he didn't get hurt hence it was an unnecessary argument. Popatlal defends Jethalal and says that these kind of people have to be punished. Komal says that the driver went away unharmed as Sodhi went garage early. Jethalal says that even he would have hit him had they all not intervened. Bapuji asks him to control his anger to which Jethalal says that how could he tolerate the threat. Iyer asks him where was he looking while walking. Jethalal tells them that he was checking in the sky if it'll rain as he had forgotten his umbrella. Jethalal leaves for the store. The ladies of the society discuss about the fight. Anjali tells them that she is scared. She refuses to what she is scared of.

The ladies convince her to share her fear with them. She tells them that she fears that the truck driver would harm Jethalal or Bapuji. Komal, Babita and Roshan tell them that nothing of that sort will happen. Anjali tells them that she is getting a feeling that something wrong is going to happen to Jethalal or Bapuji. Jethalal recalls the incident and thinks that Bapuji was right in saying that he shouldn't pay heed to these people. He sees in the rear view mirror that the truck driver is following him. He asks the rickshaw driver to drive faster. The truck driver drives past them and Jethalal realizes that he was a different truck driver. Bagha and Nattu Kaka wait for Jethalal to arrive. Bagha tells Nattu Kaka that had he known that Jethalal will be late he would have gone with Bawari to have butter corn. He tells him that every year in rain they both celebrate a butter corn day. Nattu Kaka tells him to get butter corn and he will give him company with butter corn. Bagha get disappointed that he won't be able to have butter corn with Bawari. Nattu Kaka tells him to have butter corn with Bawari on Sunday.

Nattu Kaka asks him to get butter corn for all three of them. Bagha comes with butter corn and wishes Jethalal arrive soon. Just then Jethalal arrives at the store. Bagha offers him butter corn. Jethalal looks gloomy. They ask him to share what he's concerned about. He tells them about the incident with the truck driver. Magan comes and tells Jethalal that the truck driver has come. Jethalal screams in fear however retracts it. Magan reveals that he's the everyday delivery truck driver. Jethalal tells him to take him to the godown. They all enjoy the butter corn. They get back to work. Nattu Kaka gets a call from one of the suppliers asking for a payment. There is a misunderstanding about the date of the payment. Nattu Kaka tells him that he will have Jethalal call him back. Nattu Kaka tells him about the supplier and his usual irritating habits of payment follow ups. Magan comes to the godown and tells Jethalal that a truck driver has come with 4 men. Jethalal asks him if he is a regular truck driver. Magan tells him that he's not the regular truck driver. Everyone thinks he the same truck driver who had a fight with Jethalal in the morning. Nattu Kaka and Bagha tell Jethalal that they will handle the situation and ask Jethalal to hide in the bathroom. Just as Jethalal is going to the bathroom they see someone and are stunned
