Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah July 23, 2019 Written Update: Jethalal gets into a fight with a truck driver
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see how Jethalal gets into a fight with a truck driver and neither of them budge over who needs to apologize to end the conflict
The episode starts with a recap of the previous episode. Jethalal trips over Bapuji is searching for a pin on the floor. Jethalal tells Bapuji that he will find the pin. Tappu and Goli come rapping and Goli trips over Jethalal. Goli asks him what was he doing on the floor. Jethalal tells them he was searching for a pin. Jethalal asks Goli and Tappu to help him search the pin. Goli recalls of an incident when Jethalal had to be given an injection and he made excuses to not have him injected. Tappu tells Goli that Jethalal isn't afraid of Injection anymore. Tappu and Goli start searching for the pin. Bapuji comes and once again trips, this time over Tappu. Jethalal tells Bapuji that this is what had happened with him too. Bapuji asks him if he found the pin. Jethalal says he's still searching for the pin. Tappu tells that he will find the pin in 2 min. He gets a magnet and finds the pin in a few seconds. Bapuji admires his quick thinking. Tappu and Goli say that they're going to college when Jethalal asks them where their books or bags are.
Tappu tells them that their bags are in the bedroom and they'll take it when they leave. Tappu attaches the pin on a badge and gives it to Bapuji. Jethalal leaves for the store. Bapuji gets a call from one of his friends and tells him that one of their friends is unwell. He asks Bapuji to pay him a visit. Jethalal is singing and thinks to himself that if he sees Babita it would make his day. He sees a truck speeding his way and freezes. He and the truck driver get into an argument and Jethalal asks the driver to step out. The driver refuses to come out and blames Jethalal for negligence. The rest of the members come out to see what the argument is about. Jethalal takes Popatlal's umbrella to break the windshield of the truck. The driver refuses to come out. Popatlal stops him and asks for his umbrella. Jethalal describes the incident to everyone and says that he should be punished. Everyone tries to stop Jethalal from breaking the windshield. Everyone calls out to Bapuji for help and he comes down. The truck driver gets down and challenges Jethalal.
Jethalal tells Bapuji that the driver was about to run over him. The driver tells everyone that Jethalal was looking around and walking hence he came in way of he truck. Jethalal tells him that he can look anywhere and walk since he's walking in the society compound. Jethalal challenges him that why didn't he sound the horn. The driver tells them that horn isn't working. Everyone blames the driver for driving without a working horn. He explains that because of monsoon the horn isn't working. The driver tells Jethalal that he was saved because he applied brakes at the right time. Jethalal and the driver are hell bent on hitting each other. Jethalal asks the truck keys to be taken. Bhide discreetly gets the key of the truck. Jethalal asks the driver to apologize if he wants the key. The driver refuses. Everyone tries to convince the driver to apologize and end the conflict. Jethalal tells him to apologize else the matter may get escalated. The driver threatens him of dire consequences
