Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah February 4, 2019 update: Gogi’s mobile phone lands at Gada electronics
Gogi is raving about how good a friend Montu is and decides to unbox the phone and make the first call to his father. He is shell shocked to see a detergent bar instead of the phone is the box. Tappu sena starts making fun of Gogi’s situation
The episode starts with what has happened so far. Gogi gets the new phone for 30k. He wonders what will he tell everyone about him getting a new phone. He decides of telling everyone that he has bought in exchange for his old phone. Gogi is very excited to show his new phone to the Tappu sena. Tappu exclaims that Montu has completely changed Gogi's behaviour. Gogi arrives at the café where Tappu Sena is gathered. He shows the phone to everyone is a grand style. Tappu sena is curious to know how Gogi bought an expensive phone. Gogi tells everyone that Montu has gifted him the phone in exchange for his old phone.

Tappu sena starts making fun of Gogi’s situation. They think that Gogi is fooling around and ask him to show them the new phone. It is soon understood that Montu has duped Gogi however Gogi still doesn’t believe and decides to call Montu. He realises that his old phone is with Montu and there is no way he can contact Montu. He tells everyone that he had lied about him getting the phone in exchange and he’s paid 10k for the new phone. He gets Montu’s number from a bystander and calls him using Tappu’s phone.
An argument follows between Gogi and Montu and the conversation ends with Montu telling Gogi not to call him. Tappu sena start questioning Gogi on where he got the 10k for the phone. He tells them that he used 5k from his pocket money and lied to his mother for the other 5k. They check with him if there is any evidence of him giving the money to Montu or Montu handing over the phone to Gogi. Gogi decides to run away to escape confrontation from everyone. Tappu sena chase after Gogi to stop him. Gogi pleads Tappu to help him solve the problem. They decide to approach the cops for help. In the meantime, Montu decides to sell off Gogi’s phone to sponsor his party plans.
They decide to sell it off at Gada Electronics. A conversation is shown between Nattu Kaka and Jethalal on signing some cheques. Bagha is shown daydreaming and Jethalal interrupts him and asks him why was he daydreaming. Bagha explains that he wasn’t daydreaming and was looking for a potential fault in the TV. They all investigate and Jethalal concludes that it is not a fault. Montu arrives in the shop to sell off the phone. Bagha asks for the original accessories and the bill to which Montu gives and the excuse of not having it. Bagha consults with Nattu kaka and they both decide to get the phone sold off for 5k. The episode ends with Taarak Mehta narrating the journey of the mobile phone and speculating how it will get Jethalal into trouble.
