Will Sodhi be able to break the party jinx?
The episode starts all the members stepping out of Dr. Haathi's house and thanking Dr. Haathi. Sodhi requests everyone not to tell his wife about his health condition as she would not be able to enjoy the wedding. While going home he also apologizes to Bhide and Madhavi for not being able to come for dinner. No sooner than they reach Sodhi's home, Jethalal, Popatlal and Sodhi start celebrating the success of their plan. In the meantime, Madhavi and Bhide are preparing for the dinner. Bhide comes to Sodhi's place to call him for dinner. Popatlal tells Jethalal to call them once to signal that the coast is clear for them both to leave the society compound. Jethalal calls Popatlal once everyone is busy with dinner.
Sodhi and Popatlal leave for the party. Just then, Anjali and Taarak Mehta come out of the house to admire the full moon. After much convincing by Popatlal, Taarak Mehta takes Anjali back inside and the coast is once again clear for Sodhi and Popatlal. While on their way they see Abdul at his store. Popatlal thinks of a plan to call Jethalal and ask him to call Abdul to get something delivered at his residence. Jethalal calls for soda from Abdul's store to go along with the food. As soon as Popatlal and Sodhi make a run outside the society compound they encounter Iyer and Babitaji on their way out.
They take cover in Abdul's store.
