In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how Jethalal comes with a wise plan to help out Sodhi
In the previous episode, we see Sodhi in double mind whether or not to party with his college friends as he had an invitation from Bhide to have dinner at his home where Jetha and Baapu Ji were also invited. Sodhi’s college friends enjoy a round of lassi in Sodhi’s cabin. His friends are already making plans of drinking in the evening. They see that Sodhi doesn’t look excited about the evening plans and ask him what is the matter. He declines to be at the party as he had promised his wife that he won’t party in her absence. His friends threaten him that if he does not turn up for the party they will break their friendship with Sodhi.
He decides to convince Bhide about his dilemma. He calls Bhide but he is unavailable. Madhavi tells Sodhi about the menu for the evening and Sodhi falls into a deeper dilemma thinking of all the preparation Madhavi is doing for the dinner. He imagines calling Bhide and hesitantly telling him that he won't be able to make it for the dinner. Bhide is shocked and tells Sodhi of the preparation and effort that they are putting for the dinner. He goes on to tell Sodhi that if he doesn’t come for dinner, it will break their relations.
Thinking of this he decides not to call Bhide and instead call Jethalal. He tells Jethalal and says that he will meet him at his godown and explain the situation. Just then Bhagha comes there and they both have a small argument on one of the damaged TV set. In the meantime, Sodhi arrives at the godown and explains the situation. Jethalal suggests him that o by his gut instincts and to follow his heart. Sodhi does not want to lose the friendship of either. Jethalal gives him an idea to make it to the party. Bapuji calls Jethalal to confirm if he has cancelled the tiffin service for the day and instructs to come on time. Jethalal is thinking out loud wishing that the solution he offered Sodhi is successful.
