Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah February 19, 2019 Written Update: Sodhi finds the fix for the broken car
In the last episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how Sodi falls in a two-way situation where he will have to choose between attending dinner at Bhide’s house or partying with his college friends, one of whom had come from Canada just for a day.
In the previous episode, we have seen Madhvi invites the Gokuldham Society for a dinner at her house. Bapuji calls Jethalal to inform about the dinner at Madhvi’s house when the phone drops from his hand accidently while Bagha picks up the phone for Jetha after a debacle. Bapuji tries to reach Jetha on the landline phone and just when Jetha comes to pick the phone, Bapuji gets another call and disconnects Jetha’s call. Here, Bagha tries his best to get the phone out from under the fridge which apparently was out of his reach. Meanwhile, Nattu Kaka enters and reasons out with Jethalal that nor it wasn’t Bagha’s fault neither his. Jethalal gets irritated with Nattu Kaka’s suggestions and impatiently tells Bagha to take the phone out. Nattu Kaka tells Bagha to use his brains and goes out to get a stick to fetch the phone and Bagha removes the phone for Jethalal. Jethalal asks Bagha the reason for his visit to the godown when Bagha informs Jetha that amongst all the confusion, he forgot the reason and that he shall come back again when he remembers it.
Bagha tells Jetha to check whether or not his wife had called on Jetha’s phone as he had left his phone downstairs. Jetha informs Bagha that it was Baapu Ji’s call and calls him back. Baapu Ji tells Jetha that since Sodi was about to have dinner at Madhvi’s house as Roshan would be out, Madhvi had also invited Jetha and Bapu Ji along, hence Baapu Ji tells Jetha to call Padmavati Bhojnalay and tell them not to send food for them that night. Baapu Ji also instructs Jetha to reach home before 8.30 pm while Jetha wonders whether or not Sodi will show for the dinner. Jethalal calls Bhide to asks him whether the invitation for the dinner was confirmed and also warned Bhide to confirm with Sodi whether or not he will come as Roshan and Goggi wasn’t at home and that it was a perfect opportunity for Sodi to party.
Sodhi, on the other hand, rejoices as Kapoor’s car which wasn’t getting repaired from past two days got repaired. Just when Sodi got done with the repair, he gets a call from Bhide where Sodi promises Bhide to be there for the dinner. After Bhide, Sodi gets a call from Roshan and she informs Sodi that she will be back the next day and warns him not to do party and reach at Bhide’s place for dinner on time. Here, Sodi’s college friends reach the garage to fetch Sodi for a party and they reminisce their moments of college. Sodi takes his friends in his cabin to have a little chit chat about old times. One of his friends had come from Canada for a day to finalize some deal. Sodi will soon be seen trapped in dilemma as on one side he had an invitation from Bhide for the dinner and on the other hand his college friend had come all the way from Canada and would be leaving the next day. What will Sodi do in such a situation? Will he go for the party or will he reach for dinner at Bhide’s house?
