Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah August 28, 2019 Written Update: Bhide & Popatlal fight on a social message
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how Popatlal gets offended by a quote of the day and demands Bhide to erase it.
The episode starts with what happened in the previous episode. Jethalal is searching for needle and thread and thinks that it's impossible to search for anything without Daya. Bapuji tells him to wear another shirt. Jethalal wants to wear the same shirt so Bapuji gets him needle thread from his room. Bapuji tells him that he will sow the button on his shirt. Jethalal does not find a spare black button. Bapuji tells him to use the one on the collar of the shirt. Jethalal drops the button on the floor after he takes off the button from the collar. Tappu arrives and tells Jethalal that all shirts have an extra button. Tappu sows the button on the shirt.
Tappu leaves for college. Sonu is also leaving for college. Madhavi insists on having breakfast before leaving. Sonu says she is has a lot of work and needs to rush. Tappu video calls her and asks her to come soon. Bhide gets annoyed and says he doesn't need to video call when he could have just called out to her. Sonu says that video call doesn't consume a lot of data and tells Bhide that he should also video call Madhavi. Bhide suspects that Tappu is controlling Sonu. Madhavi tells him to trust Sonu. Abdul arrives there and tells that he hasn't written the thought for the day. Madhavi tells Bhide to write a thought that will appeal to all the wives. He thinks of a thought which Madhavi likes and he goes to write it on the board. All the men of society gather around. They joke around that Bhide likes to be appreciated for the thoughts.
He finds it offensive however the men tell him they were joking. Sodhi reads the thought for the day which upsets Popatlal. He demands that the thought be erased. Popatlal accuses Bhide to be partial towards married men. Popatlal bad mouths Bhide. Jethalal arrives there and asks what's happening. Popatlal shows Jethalal and Taarak Mehta the thought. Taarak Mehta tells Jethalal the meaning of the thought. Popatlal asks everyone if they agree to the thought. Everyone agrees to the thought. Popatlal tells Bhide to erase the thought as he's offended him and Abdul. Bhide declines to erase the thought. Sodhi asks him to erase the thought as it's leading to conflicts.
Bhide tells him that he cannot erase as he's promised Madhavi that today's thought will be on wives. Popatlal tells him to put that thought on his personal board at home. Popatlal keeps on demanding to take off the thought. Taarak Mehta and Jethalal ask him to take off the thought. Bapuji arrives and Popatlal makes him read the thought. Popatlal tells Bhide that he has hurt feelings of three people of the society. Popatlal is about to erase the thought when Bhide stops him
