Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah April 22, 2019 update: Jethalal gets an order for 1000 mobile phones
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we see how a politician places an order for 1000 mobile phones and also for a further 5000 handsets
The episode starts with the politician asking for a good phone from Jethalal. He thinks to himself that it means he will have to give away an expensive phone however the politician wants an ordinary low budget smartphone. Jethalal gets happy thinking he will show him the Titto mobile phone. Jethalal takes him to the godown to show him the handset. Bagha is curious to know why he wants to use a low budget phone to which the politician replies saying that he needs it for some reason and he needs around 1000 handsets. Bagha confirms that they can give those many handsets. Jethalal is still thinking that he would incur huge losses. Just then, the politician tells him who will make the payment for the phones. He gives the number of Paresh Bhai who apparently knows Jethalal. Jethalal calls Paresh Bhai and he confirms that he will get the money for the phones without any problems. The politician asks them if they can arrange for another 5000 handsets.
Bagha and Nattu Kaka confirm that they will arrange. The politician tells Jethalal to keep the 1000 phones transaction as a secret and to vote for his party during the elections. After the politician leaves all three rejoice and dance. They decide to memorize the day by taking a selfie and calling for some snacks. Jethalal decides to call Taarak Mehta and tell him the good news. Taarak Mehta is very happy for Jethalal and wishes him prosperity. In the meantime, Bagha gets all the snacks and all three sit to feast. Jethalal asks Bagha to take Bawari for a treat in a fancy restaurant and bill him. He also asks Nattu Kaka to shut the shop early and take a day. He decides to leaves early and treats Bapuji and the entire society with sweets. He reaches home and Bapuji and Tappu are surprised to see him home early.
Tappu wants to know what the sweets are for. Bapuji tells him that it's for the 1000 phones order. Jethalal is surprised to learn that Bapuji knows the reason. Jethalal thanks Bapuji for his blessings. He gives them the sweets and tells Bapuji that he will give the society members when he meets them at the soda shop in the evening. He gives his friends also the sweets and they too are happy for him. Dr. Haathi wants to know who gave him this order of 1000 phones. Jethalal declines to answer the question as the politician had told him to. All the gents of the society coax him to reveal the name and he is left with no choice. He requests everyone to not let this out. Everyone is curious to know why the politician purchased so many phones. Sodhi asks for a party from Jethalal. Jethalal promises a party at the first opportunity. He also tells others to vote for the politician to which all of them disagree stating that they will vote for the rightful candidate and he mustn't influence their decision. All of them discuss the importance of casting a vote.
