Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah April 18, 2019 update: Nattu Kaka and Bagha make a business blunder
In the latest episode, we how Jethalal is yet again in a dilemma as Nattu Kaka and Bagha make a poor business decision
The episode starts with Jethalal, Nattu Kaka and Bagha entering the godown. Jethalal wants to know what the surprise is. Nattu Kaka tells him to sit down, relax and close his eyes. Bagha meanwhile takes out a phone and covers it behind a file. Jethalal is asked to open his eyes and is shown the mobile phone. They tell him that the mobile phone manufacturers have given them exclusive rights to sell the phone hence they have taken an order of 1000 phones from. Jethalal disagrees and asks Nattu Kaka to decline the offer. Nattu Kaka tells him that the order has already arrived. He gets shocked and is upset that they have taken this decision. Nattu Kaka and Bagha assure him that the phone will be sold like hot cakes. Nattu assures him that they have already studied the market and the phones will be sold soon.
Jethalal asks them how soon can they sell the phones. Nattu Kaka gives a time frame of 3 months. Jethalal tells them that historically Gada electronics haven't sold more than 50 mobile phones in any month even during peak season. Nattu Kaka and Bagha tell Jethalal that they will market the phone well in order to sell it. Nattu tells him about the profit they will make after selling the phone. Jethalal gets irritated and asks them to manage the store in the meantime he gets a call from Taarak Mehta. He tells him how he is in trouble again because of Nattu Kaka and Bagha. Jethalal tells Taarak Mehta that he will tell him everything in detail when they meet at the soda shop in the evening. All the gents of society meet at the soda shop. Abdul gets a call and since it is about marriage Popatlal snatches the phone from him and starts talking to the caller.
Soon he gets to know that it was a misunderstanding. Abdul tells everyone what the misunderstanding was and everyone has a hearty laugh. They all enjoy a light conversation and Popatlal tells everyone how positive is approach is since returning from Singapore. Abdul points out that Jethalal isn't present. Taarak Mehta tells them that he has some business related tension. Just then they see Jethalal waking towards them. He is gloomy and everyone is concerned. Iyer cracks a joke by which Jethalal is not amused and warns him not to fool around today. Jethalal explains to them what the problem is. Iyer tells them that it is difficult to sell 1000 phones due to the ever-changing technology. They all assure him of help and suggest him to be stress-free. They all exclaim that selling 1000 phone in a month is next to impossible.
