In the latest episode of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, it is seen that Ishaan has stood by his words and has been helping Mauli in looking after Kunal. Ishaan loves Mauli and proposed her for marriage a long time back. Mauli finally nods with a yes as soon as she witnesses the entry of Kunal into her life again. Now Mauli has been looking after Kunal by taking Ishaan's help. Kunal seems to have been living in the past as he has lost his partial memory due to which he remembers Mauli and his love towards her. However, Kunal's growing physical proximity towards Mauli makes her uncomfortable. Moreover, his emotional bonding with Mauli makes Ishaan uncomfortable too.

Kunal prepares for the celebration of his wedding anniversary with Mauli and sets up surprises for her. But he gets upset upon learning that Mauli had left for her clinic on the day of their anniversary. Both Deeda and Radhika try to divert his attention but Kunal senses that something is terribly wrong. Kunal then insists Mauli to make gajar ka halwa and kheer on the occasion of their anniversary. Gajar ka halwa was prepared by Mauli on the occasion of Nandini's birthday every year and kheer was Kunal's favorite dessert. Mauli agrees to make gajar ka halwa but refuses to make the kheer which is made by Radhika later on.

While enjoying the sweet dishes, Kunal suddenly askes Mauli about her best friend which makes Mauli accidentally take Nandini's name. This scares Deeda and Radhika as Nandini's name may put pressure on Kunal's brain. The doctor had already advised them not to reveal anything to Kunal which will have a traumatic effect on him.
