Sanjivani 2 September 4, 2019 Written Update: Sid feels emotional
Today in Sanjivani, Sid gets frustrated at Riya’s mother but later apologises to her and hears her side of the story. Later, he reconciles with his mother.
In today’s episode, Sid compels Riya’s mother to reveal her fathers name. After a while, he gets aggressive and emotional and accidentally yells at her to reveal his father's name instead of Riya’s. He walks away as Ishani consoles her. Ishani sees Sid breaking car windows out of frustration and goes to calm him down. She notices the injury on his hand. She talks to him about seeing from Riya’s mother’s point of view and understand her condition. He snaps at her when she asks if he sees his childhood in Riya.
Dr. Shashank comes and asks Ishani to give Sid and him some privacy. He comforts Sid and tells him that he is proud of him but he needs to apologise to Riya’s mother. Sid hugs Shashank and cries. Meanwhile, Dr. Asha gets impatient as she has no cases today. She sees a man struggling and asks him if he’s okay. Aman and Asha hear a phone ringing and check their phones. They realise it’s the patient’s phone and asks him to put it on silent mode. He tells them that his phone is in his stomach as he had swallowed his old fashioned phone because of a bet with friends. Asha gets excited and tells him that they will have to operate him to get it out or else they can get it out through this digestive tract.
Sid apologises to Riya’s mother. She tells him that she understands what Riya is going through and feels hurt more than her whenever she is in pain. She narrates her story and tells Sid about her boss with whom she fell in love but found out that he was married when Riya was in her womb. Her boss threatened to tarnish her character in the office so she never wanted him to be a part of their life. Later, Asha waits for the patient to defecate the phone but he is unable to. Asha insists him to get operated. Aman asks her why she is being so impatient for an operation. She explains to him how she has to prove herself this year so that she can become a permanent resident doctor next year. Otherwise, her parents will get her married to someone and her career will fall apart. Aman doesn’t understand her point and tells her that they can get into another hospital easily by bribing. Asha gets frustrated and insults Aman. He gets angry too but in the meantime the patient comes out of the washroom and agrees for the operation and Asha becomes happy. Sid listens and understands Riya’s mother’s perspective. He calls up his mother feeling emotional and tells her that she is her everything and he doesn’t need anything else in life. His mother feels happy and asks him to take care of his patients and return home soon. Sid sees Ishani standing nearby speechless as she overheard his conversation.
