Sanjivani 2 August 23, 2019 Written Update: Dr. Juhi joins Sanjivani
In today's episode of Sanjivani 2, Dr. Sid and Dr. Ishani perform the surgery on Saniya successfully. Dr. Juhi accepts the post of Chief of Surgery to stop Vardhan.
In the latest episode, Dr. Rishabh tries to stop the surgery but Dr. Sid threatens him and asks him to leave. Dr. Rishabh records videos and photos from outside and releases it to the press. Vardhan calls Dr. Rahul to set up a meeting. He hears people's raging outside the window. He steps out to stop the surgery and asks Dr. Rishabh to catch who released the footage to the press. Dr. Juhi stops Vardhan from interrupting the surgery. He tells her that she has no connection or authority in Sanjivani. Dr. Juhi accepts the post of Chief of Surgery right there and orders Vardhan to not stop the surgery. He tells her that since she has accepted the post, she also needs to take the responsibility of handling the angry mob and press outside.
Dr. Juhi comes outside and a man hits her with a stone on her forehead. She asks the police to let go of the man and then she announces that they're trying to save the girl's life. Dr. Ishani pulls out the rod from Saniya and blood splashes all over her. She frantically tries to save Saniya as her pulse drops remembering that she shouldn't be punished for her parents mistakes like she was. Ishani gets a flashback of people wanting to kill her for her parents mistakes when she was small. Dr. Sid sees Ishani standing and repeating that it will be okay so he tries to bring her back to reality. He tells her that the surgery was successful. Ishani goes to sit alone and sob. Dr. Sid finds her and wipes her tears. She thanks him for everything.
Meanwhile, Dr. Juhi talks to the public and asks them what evidence do they have to prove that the girl is a terrorist. She explains to them that it's their duty to treat every victim not to give out judgements. The public and the press agree with her and feel ashamed. Vardhan interrupts her and tells the press that they sent her out but when they got to know that she had nothing to do with the blasts they brought her back. Next day, Dr. Shashank expresses his disappointment as Dr. Sid is about to be fired. Dr. Juhi tells him that they can ask Ishani to withdraw her complaint. He tells her that Dr. Ishani is very strong headed and she won't compromise her principles at any cost. As Dr. Ishani arrives at the hospital everyone including Asha, Aman and Neil ask her to rethink about her complaint that is going to get Dr. Sid fired. Vardhan meets her and tells her to not give into the pressure everyone is putting on her and informs her about the board meeting at 2 pm. Dr. Sid sits at the shore worrying about what is going to happen.
