Sanjivani 2 August 16, 2019 Written Update: Dr. Juhi is unable to perform the surgery
In today’s episode of Sanjivani, Dr. Juhi doesn’t perform surgery on Shashank because of the high risks involved. Later, Dr. Ishani records Dr. Sid extorting his commission.
In the latest episode, Shashank gets ready for the surgery. Vardhan is talking to Mistry who he’s appointing as the new CEO considering Shashank is not going to live long. Mistry suggests him to replace all the general wards with VIP wards to double the income of the hospital. Shashank tells Juhi that he wants to live before the surgery. He tells her in case anything happens to him, she will be the new Chief of Surgery. Anjali stands afar listening to this with a heavy heart. She wishes both of them good luck and leaves. Meanwhile, Dr. Rishabh and Dr. Ishani try to figure out what’s wrong with the patient who came in with abdominal pain. Rishabh tells her that he suggested CT scan to the patient's parents but her father refuses to do the scans. Soon the patients father comes and begins yelling at Rishabh as he thinks the hospital is just looting them. Ishani tries to make him understand but he orders a nurse to immediately discharge his daughter.
Later, Ishani reads up about a similar case as she had noticed the patient eating her own hair. As the father drags the patient out, Vardhan asks him to sign a release form to state that the hospital is not responsible for what happens to the patient once they leave. The man gets furious. His wife tries to show how her daughter is balding because of all the stress and tries to convince her husband that she probably needs a CT scan but he doesn’t listen to anybody. Meanwhile, Ishani comes along and explains that their daughter has Rapunzel Syndrome and she needs to be operated. The patient collapses and Ishani calls the nurses to get the OT ready for her surgery. Juhi is unable to figure out how to begin the surgery because every move can damage Shashank’s vital sense organs or memory. Vardhan thinks that they shouldn’t keep the body open for so long in such a condition since it has been five hours since the surgery began. Anjali enters the room and asks them to take action and close Shashank up.
Later, Vardhan meets Sid in the hallway and reminds him that he only has 15 minutes left to pay the bill. Juhi leaves the OT and goes outside in a haze. She sits in her car and cries. Meanwhile, Ishani has finished with the surgery on the patient with the Rapunzel Syndrome. Rishabh scolds her for taking decisions for performing surgery by only guesswork and without any MRI or CT scans. He asks her to stay within her limits and not take such shortcuts and consult her senior doctor before doing things if she wants to stay in Sanjivani. Later, Sid finds the rich man from the cafeteria and talks to him. Ishani sees Sid taking money from the man and records everything on her phone. She confronts Sid and tells him that she has recorded everything and this game between them is now over.
