Saanjh is hurt during her mehndi ceremony as per Maya's plan
Maya swears to take revenge.
The mehndi ceremony begins and Saanjh and Arjun are very happy to finally be hitched together. Lalwani enters the function disguised as a waiter and remembers the promise he made to Maya of killing Saanjh. Lalwani mixes some glass pieces in the mehndi. Unaware of Maya's plan, Saanjh and Arjun dance and celebrate their mehndi ceremony.
Meanwhile, Jhanvi asks the police inspector to kill Maya as soon as possible. She says that Maya deserves to die even though she is her daughter. Jhanvi before leaving asks Maya for a favor and tells her to die and let everybody live peacefully. She says that after her death Arjun and Saanjh will be able to live a happy life. Maya gets furious on listening to Jhanvi and says that Maya Mehrotra never forgets her enemies. She says that she will not forget what Arjun did to her, what Saanjh and Suman did to her and what her own mother Jhanvi is doing to her.
On the other hand, when Saanjh sits to begin her mehndi ceremony the mehndi lady starts to apply mehndi on Saanjh's feet and within a while, Saanjh's feet begin to bleed. Everybody is shocked to see this and Arjun is suspicious of Lalwani and tries to catch him but fails to do so. Lalwani hits Arjun on the head and runs away in a car. Arjun apologizes to Saanjh and blames himself for the unfortunate incident. Saanjh says that it is not him who has mixed small pieces of glass in her mehndi but Arjun says he knows who could have done it and he will not sit quietly until he catches hold of the culprit.
Meanwhile, Maya cunningly smiles to herself in the jail.
