NAAMKARAN 21 September written update: Ragini is not in jail but at Rang Mahal
Neil is convinced that Raagini is not in jail. He is collecting evidence to prove this fact.
Neil is telling Inspector DD and Avni that Avni has seen Raagini at Rang Mahal, but documents state that she is still in Jail. However, without evidence a search warrant cannot be issued. He states that Pandit coming and going from the jail can be their only big evidence. DD says that he is right, and that someone can come in and go out of the jail only if someone from the inside is helping them out. So Neil says that this will be a secret mission and they will choose the officers worth trusting to be a part of it.
He tells DD to tell the officers only as much as required and narrates the whole plan.
They then look at the blueprint of Rang Mahal and focus on the entrances, meanwhile telling two female constables to pretend like they are criminals and get into jail to keep an eye on Raagini. He says that if they plan this out well, they can collect enough evidence against Raagini. They hear a slight interception over the phone recording and decide that this is the time to capture and reveal the truth.
Raagini is in the car, planning something out.
Neil is keeping in touch with DD and they are silently spying.
The 2 lady constables, are silently informing that Raagini is not seen anywhere. Dayavanti appears, asking them if they are new, to which they try to dissuade her by being rude.
A grey car is coming into sight and DD suspects that this is the car with Raagini in it. A police constable is asked to search the car, but there is no one in the back-seat. DD and Neil wonder where Raagini is, as they are sure she has left from Rang Mahal. And they decide to go towards the jail, to check it out further.
They question the inspector in charge asking about the whereabouts of Raagini, angered by the negligence, when suddenly she appears from behind and innocently asks if she was being looked for. She pretends like she is not at fault and that she had gone to the hospital as she hurt her hand. Suddenly the inspector also pretends to remember and claims that she had momentarily forgotten. Then Raagini pretends like she doesn't understand why they are looking for her, when she has been locked up in jail for so long, when instead they should be looking for criminals outside. To which Neil gets angry and says, that he knows where she goes and why, and to be careful, because soon he will catch her from this hide and seek game she is playing.
Raagini tries to defend herself, to which Neil asks her to shut up. To which she again very cleverly retorts saying that without evidence they cannot prove anything, and she questions DD and Neil if they have any evidence. Then she suggests that they should see the CCTV camera If they don’t believe her.

DD asks her to stop teaching them what to do. To which Neil tells her that in the right time they will provide evidence as well as give her due punishment. Raagini then suggests that she can draw a kundli for him, to which he asks her to mark the day of Vijay-dashmi as her downfall and gives her a threat and walks away. Soon after which Raagini throws away the cast on her hand.
Police Commissioner scolds Neil asking him to stop accusing criminals who have been in the jail for years without any complaints, and doing their work well. Neil tries to justify saying he has solid information, to which the commissioner gets frustrated and says, what information, this Is not a private detective agency and that the senior officials have a problem with this, and will have to remove Neil from the case, if he causes more problem.
Neil says that he was the one who exposed this case, and as it is a human trafficking case he needs to find out the master mind behind it, asking for a search warrant. The commissioner cuts him short, and asks him to leave.
Raagini thanks Dayavanthi. Dayavanthi says there is no need. She rethinks to how she found out that something was wrong and warned her. Raagini says that she doesn't need anyone’s favour and that she will do whatever is needed to get over her due and she knows exactly what Dayavanthi wants.
Dayavanthi says that there couldn't possibly be a better place for Avni, the child born out of sin, worse than Rang Mahal, and that she deserves that horrible fate. She wants her to suffer and die.
Avni is worried in the office, and wondering what is happening. She hears another recorded message, and wants to inform Neil, when he walks in. She questions if he has caught Pandit, but Neil in anger throws the chair and says that nothing is going to make a difference because the system is corrupted and that he can't do anything to save and help Juhi. He is distraught as Avni hugs him and tells her that evil might win over the good.
He informs that DJB has stopped the investigation. Neela enters the office, silently watching this. Avni tries to console him that everything will be okay. Neela is shocked at knowing all this and walks out.
Avni goes after her and tries to console her saying she is sorry for having lied. Neela distraught tries to make her understand that she should not let anyone else take her place. But Avni tries to make her think for Juhi also, beyond herself. Neela is very upset. But Avni cannot promise to take Juhi’s place. The Mangalsutra breaks. And Neela makes up her mind to never let anything come in between Avni’s happiness.
At home, Neil and Avni share a romantic moment in the bedroom.
