Kumkum Bhagya May 8, 2019 Written Update: Ranbir proposes Prachi
Today in Kumkum Bhagya, we see how Meera starts to develop feeling for Abhi while Pragya mistakenly thanked Vikram, taking him to be Mr. Mehra. Later, Ranbir ends up proposing Prachi.
In the previous episode, we see how Abhi plans to take revenge from Prachi’s mother by throwing flour on her, as she had thrown flour on him. Later, Ranbir and Prachi had an argument while Aryan and Shahana snapped at each other. Aryan asks Ranbir about why did he choose Rhea to be his girlfriend as she was temperamental, had ego, was high maintenance and had a lot of attitude. Ranbir tells Aryan that he could find no other girl who could compliment him and that if it was not Rhea then who did he think was suitable for him. Aryan tells Ranbir that in spite the fact that Rhea was his sister, he thinks Rhea was too difficult for him to handle. Ranbir tells Aryan that it was his first time to propose any girl however Aryan warns him about the possibility that Rhea might reject him.
Ranbir, being over confident, tells Aryan that no girl has ever rejected him and promises him for arranging a proposal which Rhea couldn’t deny for. Here, Abhi expresses his anger for Prachi’s mother in front of Purab in a childish way, which made Purab remember the times when Abhi used to behave the same way with Pragya. Amidst everything, Meera was starting to develop feelings for Abhi about which he was unaware of. In the meantime, Ranbir’s dadi, Pallavi, Aalia discuss about how warm the party turned out be and praised Prachi. Aalia asks Beeji why did she find Prachi sweet when she appreciates Prachi for being a responsible girl. Rhea joins the conversation and appreciates Sarita Ben for making delicious food, however, she tells Beeji that the service is a little slow. Shahana overhears their conversation and comes to share the feedback with Pragya. Shahana tells Pragya about the complaint Rhea had about their service.
Pragya tells Shahana that she will go and look after the service herself, as she wanted no complaints from the guests and the family. Here, Ranbir gives a waiter some money and points to Rhea. Ranbir tells the waiter that he needed to tell the girl to come to the room on her left and that if she did not go, someone may die. Prachi was standing behind Rhea and the waiter mistakenly thinks that he needed to send Prachi in that room. Ranbir goes to check the arrangement while the waiter comes and tells Prachi exactly what Ranbir had told him to say. Seeing the seriousness in the waiter’s information, Prachi rushes to the room. While on one hand Ranbir waited for Rhea to come, on the other hand, Pallavi tells Vikram how Ranbir had helped Prachi to set the table. While they were conversing, Beeji comes and takes Pallavi with her. Vikram finds Prachi passing by and he appreciates her for bringing Ranbir on the right track. Just while Vikram and Prachi were conversing, Pragya comes and finds Prachi talk to Vikram.
She mistakes Vikram to be Mr. Mehra and thanked him for everything that he did for Prachi. Vikram gets baffled seeing Pragya thank him so many times however by the time he understands, Pragya leaves. Here, Ranbir sets the room for Rhea and practises his proposal speech. He dims the light to create a perfect ambience however instead of Rhea, Prachi comes inside the room. Ranbir starts with his proposal speech and just when he was about to kneel down and propose, he switches on the light and sees Prachi there. They both get ridiculed by the idea of having one another as their partners and gets involved in an argument.
