Kumkum Bhagya July 22, 2019 Written Update: Prachi is released
In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya, we see how Abhi expresses to Purab how he failed to be a good father to Kiara, and refuses to let history repeat itself. Subsequently, Prachi is released and she is informed that the real culprit has confessed to the crime.
In the last episode, we see at the Mehra mansion, the forensic team is unable to find evidence of Prachi's innocence in the CCTV footage. Unaware of who is really on the other end of the call, Abhi and Pragya greet each other. While Abhi, Vikram and Ranbir hop from one lawyer to another, to find someone who was willing to fight the case on behalf of Prachi; Rhea steals money from Abhi’s cupboard in order to give the blackmailer the money. Meera finds Abhi worked up and tells him to relax, as he was doing his best in order to save Prachi. Abhi tells Meera that if he wasn’t able to save Prachi, he would never make any new relationship in his life ever. Ranbir heard Abhi’s conversation with Meera, who tells him that he was taking stress, as he always wanted a daughter like Prachi and that he wanted Rhea to become like Prachi.
Pragya comes to the lawyer, who tells her that Prachi needed to be in the jail for the next two days, as he got the hearing date which was of two days later. Here, Abhi creates a havoc in the CCTV room, when Purab enters and motivates Abhi to keep calm. He tells Purab that just like Kiara, Prachi also considered him a super man and that he had to save Prachi. Ranbir was seeing Abhi in pain and goes to the police station and confessed to the police that it was him, who had kept drugs in Prachi’s bag. He makes up a story and tells the police about how he bought drugs in low cost and sold at high cost to his high end friends. The police warn Ranbir and asks him whether or not he knew what he was getting into. In order to get Prachi out, he confessed his crime and got arrested.
Here, Purab calls his old security guy and tells him to check the footage. Mahesh, the security boy tells Abhi that out if twenty-four CCTV cameras, one camera and its footage was missing. Meanwhile, Rhea goes to meet the blackmailer and give him money, however, he demands for more money from her and misbehaves with her. Pragya was passing by and sees the blackmailer misbehave with Rhea. She comes and slaps him and warns him to stay away from Rhea. Rhea tells him to go and apologizes to Pragya for letting him go. Pragya then asks Rhea if she knew anything about the person who would be involved in getting Prachi trapped. Rhea feels guilty and tells Pragya that she did not know anything and leaves. At the station, a lady constable releases Prachi and tells her that someone had come to the station and had confessed his crime and that was the reason she was getting released.
