Kumkum Bhagya August 16, 2019 Written Update: Ranbir is confused about Prachi
Today in Kumkum Bhagya, we see how Aalia wanted Disha to prove that she had no plans to snatch Purab from her. Elsewhere, Ranbir was lost in Prachi’s thoughts and wondered whether or not was he falling for her while he thought he loved Rhea.
Aalia drags Disha and confronted her for her connection with Purab. She questions Disha and asks her for proof that she was not planning to steal Purab from her. Seeing Disha quiet, Aalia tells Disha to prove that she did not want Purab back in her life. Just then, Aryan comes in the room and Aalia flaunts him and tells Disha that Aryan was her and Purab’s son. Disha gets shocked to see Aryan and Aalia brightens up seeing Disha shocked. Aryan tells Aalia that it was time to cut the cake and tells her that Purab was waiting for her.
Pallavi flaunts the ring that Vikram had given her, to her mother-in-law. Vikram’s mother tells Pallavi that he had gifted her ring on Karwa-Chauth and that it was not a new ring. Pallavi gets furious and tells her mother-in-law that she would not spare him. Vikram celebrates his victory and comes inside Ranbir’s room to get him for the cake-cutting ceremony. He finds Ranbir lost in his thoughts and asks him what was the reason for his lost behaviour. Later, when the CM comes on the stage for the speech, she thanked Abhi and Anuradha for bravery. She calls Abhi on the satge and gives him the bravery award. Abhi tells the CM that since Anuradha could not come, he can call Prachi to receive her award.
Vikram coaxes Ranbir and he asks him what did think about love. Vikram tells Ranbir that love was the most beautiful thing in the world and tells him a quote about love. Ranbir tells Vikram that he did not understand and Vikram tells Ranbir that he could not explain what love was, as it was a feeling and not a definition. Vikram tells Ranbir that when a person puts his own self in trouble in order to save the other one, that is the real definition of love. Just then, Pallavi comes and calls Vikram a liar, as he had given her the same ring that he had gifted to her at some other function. Ranbir mocks Vikram and laughs on him for doing petty things.
Disha walks down the memory lane and gets emotional. Just then, Ritik comes inside and asks her whether or not she wanted to share her grief with him. Disha tells Ritik that she did not want to share anything with him. Ritik tells her that since the CM would go on stage next, she had to be there. Disha tells him to go and she would come soon. Ritik waited for her while she sheds one last tear and turns around to see Ritik standing. Disha gets annoyed to see him still there while he made sure he took her along with him and not leave her alone.
The cake cutting ceremony begins and Purab continuously stared at Disha while doing so. Just then, the CM comes and tells Disha to get the awards for the award ceremony. Meanwhile, Aryan makes an announcement and calls Aalia and Purab on the stage for a couple dance. Disha feels heart-broken to see them together while Purab could not keep his eyes off Disha. Aryan calls Prachi, Rhea and Ranbir for a dance onstage and Shahana feels left out while they rocked the dance number on the stage. She joined Meera and other for the dance and they all enjoyed the performance.
