Kawach Mahashivratri August 24, 2019 Written Update: Sakshi takes over Sandhya’s body

In today's episode, Sakshi possesses Rekha and tells Sandhya that she will take away their daughter because she took away Prem from her. Sandhya tries to make her understand that she has given birth to Prem and repeatedly asks her where her children are. Angad tries to ask her too but she attacks Angad and lifts up Sandhya by her neck trying to kill her. To stop her, Angad breaks the ritualistic circle Rekha had drawn on the ground. Sakshi's spirit is forced to leave and Rekha comes back to being herself. She apologizes to Sandhya for not finding out about the children. Sakshi returns to the caves and finds the children missing. Prem takes Aastha to a nearby temple. He comforts her as she's scared.

Kartik asks the police force to look for the children. Some Aghori Baba's arrive and tell Kartik and his family that they've been sent as they have sensed something ominous is about to happen. Rekha draws another picture and tells the family about where the children are. Sandhya recognises the temple and Angad leaves to find the children. They decide to call the priests at the temple itself. At the temple, Sakshi fools Aastha into thinking that Angad and Sandhya have arrived. Prem asks her to not go out but she runs outside anyway. Aastha sees that Sakshi fooled her. Sakshi lifts Aastha up in the air to punish her. Angad, Sandhya and everyone else arrive there and see Sakshi with Aastha. Sandhya pleads Sakshi to let Aastha go. Angad tries to get hold of Aastha but Sakshi's cyclone throws him out everytime he gets near. Sandhya asks Sakshi to punish her, not her daughter. Prem arrives and asks Sakshi to let Aastha go. He tells her that she's bad as she hurts everyone. Sakshi realises that Prem hates him now and she blames Sandhya for it. She tries to kill Sandhya.

Kartik arrives at the right time with the aghori babas. They perform a ritual to weaken Sakshi's power. Eventually, Sakshi disappears. The babas tell Sandhya that Sakshi's soul has been liberated and they won't have any further problems. They return home and everyone feels relieved to see Aastha back safe. Sandhya tells everyone how Prem saved Aastha. Angad kneels down to apologise to Prem and hugs him. Rekha tells everyone that it's time for her to leave. Sandhya insists her to stay for some time and touches her hand as she goes to get her some clothes. Rekha feels something as Sandhya touches her hand. Angad goes to their room and hugs Sandhya from behind asking if she has forgiven her. He kisses her as they get close and share a romantic moment. Sandhya goes to give Rekha the saree. 

Later, Angad gives Sandhya flowers and expresses his love for her. Sandhya tells him that she never received the love she deserved. Angad holds her hands and they repeat their marriage vows. Rekha draws something again but this time there's just a vague black mess on the paper. The aghori babas perform a ritual and Sandhya's soul appears in front of them. She asks them where she is and where is her family. She realizes that the babas betrayed her and helped Sakshi to use her body as a host while her soul stays with them. They tell her that Sakshi will now stay with her family. Sakshi reveals her intentions in her mind as she hugs Angad. She scares Aastha as she throws a tantrum. Prem understands that she's Sakshi and not Sandhya as she used to threaten her in the same way at the abandoned house. Angad appreciates Sandhya as she put the kids to sleep. He pulls her close affectionately and talks to her. 

Later, Rekha comes downstairs for water and feels someone's presence. Sandhya's spirit comes home. Aastha wakes up and asks Prem to play with her. He tells her to sleep as Sakshi will punish her. She doesn't understand and says that her mother Sandhya is sweet and will never punish them. She gets off the bed but hurts herself and starts crying. Sandhya's spirit sees her cry but she's helpless as the kids cannot see or hear her. As Sandhya prays to God, Sakshi arrives and congratulates Sandhya for her new life. She shows off how much she's enjoying Sandhya's life. Sandhya promises Sakshi that she will take her life back. Sakshi leaves as Angad must be waiting for her. Sandhya is heartbroken and prays to Lord Shiva to send someone to help her. Rekha draws one more picture of her talking to Angad. She hears someone crying and goes to investigate. She reaches the temple looking for who's crying and Sandhya sees her. She realises that Rekha might be able to see and help her.
