Kasautii Zindagii Kay May 24, 2019 Written Update: Anurag rescues Shivani
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Anurag is able to save Shivani from Ronit. Later on, Anurag and Prerna share some quality time together.
In the previous episode, the Police arrests Komolika after Anurag turns the table. She threatens the Basus while a drunk Ronit visits Prerna's house. Prerna and Anurag panic to see Veena and Shivani missing and the house in mess. Prerna looks for them and finds Veena locked inside a room while Shivani was shouting for help. Anurag rushes upstairs and tells Ronit to open the door. Ronit tells Anurag to leave them alone as he was adamant to take Shivani along with him. Anurag breaks in and beats Ronit for misbehaving with Shivani. He drags Ronit out of the house and warns him not to come near them again. Shivani thanked Anurag for saving her from Ronit while Anurag tells Veena that he was not only related to Prerna, but he had the responsibility of the entire family. Veena blesses Anurag and showers him with love.
Later, while setting the dinner table, Anurag and Prerna share a moment together. Later, in the Basu house, Mohini and Nivedita comes at the breakfast table where Prerna serves them breakfast. While Nivedita praise Prerna for making, Mohini expresses her annoyance to see Prerna there. Tapur joins them and seek permission from Mohini to organise a surprise party for Sahil’s parents as they wanted to celebrate their marriage anniversary. Just when Mohini agreed for it, an employee from Basu Publications come and tells Anurag that he had something urgent to speak to him. Here, Mohini takes Nivedita aside and questions her about showering love on Prerna. Nivedita tried to defend Prerna in front of Mohini, however, Mohini berates Nivedita and blames Anupam for brainwashing her. Nivedita goes against Mohini and defends Anupam and Prerna in front of Mohini. Seeing her daughter go against her, Mohini tells Nivedita to choose sides.
Mohini tells Nivedita that if she wanted to continue her relationship with Prerna, she will have to lose Mohini. In the meantime, Prerna learns about a businessman who was showing interest in Basu Publication. Anurag and his staff explain Prerna that before Komolika got arrested, she had transferred Basu Publication’s papers on her name with the help of the lawyers. Anurag’s staff also informs Prerna that the businessman, Mr. Bajaj was buying their company shares rapidly and that if that continues, he will soon be entitled to a huge chunk of the profits. Prerna tells him to bring her all the information about Mr. Bajaj which he could gather and tells Anurag that they should know who the person was, as he must know something about them as he was showing keen interest in the Publication. Anurag tells Prerna that nobody knew who Mr. Bajaj actually was, as he was under cover.
Here, Anupam finds Nivedita saddened by something and asks her to share her grief with him. Nivedita tells Anupam that she had started liking Prerna which wasn’t going well with Mohini and tells him that she had told her to choose between her and Prerna. Anupam tells Nivedita that he had a plan and tells her that if Anurag confesses his love to Prerna, Mohini would eventually accept Prerna. Tapur hears their plan and joins them to execute it with them.
