Kasautii Zindagii Kay May 20, 2019 Written Update: Komolika is cornered
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Komolika senses something wrong when she spots Anurag and Prerna together. However, she unwittingly falls prey to their trap.
In the previous episode, Prerna gets suspicious of the similarity between Vikrant and Moloy's accident. Later, Komolika makes a shocking disclosure. Tapur’s sangeet ceremony begins and Sahil’s family comes to the Basu house. Anurag finds Prerna mesmerizing, dressed in a green sari and Anupam catches Anurag gaze at her. He comes to Prerna and asks her about the information that she wanted to give him. Prerna tells Anurag that she needed his help to execute her plan. While they were conversing, Komolika finds something fishy between them and wanted to confront them. But before she could go to them, Mohini gets Komolika involved in a conversation about how thankful she was to Komolika. Mohini tells Komolika how lucky she felt she was as she couldn’t get a better daughter-in-law than her.
Just then light goes off and Anurag informs everyone about the short circuit in the electric board. Mohini wanted to continue with the function and tells everyone that she wanted to continue the function on the terrace. Anurag and Nivedita takes everyone on the terrace. While Komolika wondered where Prerna was all this time, she finds her entering with a projector. While Prerna sets up the projector, she hides behind the pillar and observes what was she doing. Once she set the projector, Prerna calls for Komolika and tells her that she did not have to hide behind the pillar as she (Prerna) knew she was hiding. Here, when the guests settled and were enjoying the party, Anurag requested Mohini, Nivedita, Anupam and Tapur to go to the living room with him. Mohini resisted the idea and tells Anurag the importance of them attending the guests, however, seeing an urgency in Anurag’s plea, they agree to go down.
Here, Prerna gets Komolika involved a conversation and demanded to know the reason of falling prices of Basu Publication. Komolika pretended to be innocent but Prerna throws the truth on her face, hereby instigating her and making her furious. She accuses Komolika and tells her that she knew that Komolika had manipulated the market and purposely planned to scam the Basu Publications. One by one Prerna showed all the video clips which proved that Komolika had planned Vikrant’s murder, she had sent Naveen Babu to kidnap Prerna and also that she had messed with Basu Publication’s share prices in order to marry Anurag. Komolika thought there was nobody in the hall and challenges Prerna to convince everyone that she was guilty. She accepts everything and tells Prerna that in spite of the fact that she knew everything about her, she wouldn’t be able to prove anything.
She goes a step further and insults Mohini and Nivedita, who according to her were fools to believe on her and tells Prerna that she would soon get rid of them and capture the house. Mohini, Nivedita, Tapur, Anupam, Anurag and Moloy were listening to everything that Komolika had confessed. Unaware of them being present there, Komolika accepts everything and warns Prerna to leave the house.
