Kasautii Zindagii Kay June 25, 2019 Written Update: Mohini’s wicked move
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Veena is against Prerna and Anurag's marriage while Mr Bajaj plots against Anurag. Later, Mohini has a private meeting with Veena at the police station.
In the last episode, Veena recalls a shocking fact about the stolen necklace while Mr Bajaj stirs more trouble for Anurag. Later, the police take Veena into their custody. Prerna comes to meet Veena, who tells her that she wanted to make a request to her. Veena tells Prerna that it was up to her to listen to what she had to tell her. She tells Prerna to call off the wedding as she had a feeling about their marriage to not be successful. Prerna tells Veena that would go to the Basu Bari and get Mohini to the police station for her to take the complaint back.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bajaj gives a speech on business tricks at an annual seminar and teaches the students how they should scare their opponent and not to get stopped by anyone. Mr. Bajaj gets an idea to finish Basu Publications and calls for a meeting with his staff to brief them about how they could destroy Basu Publications. Mr. Bajaj comes to his office, where his manager gives news about newest of information that they’ve been able to collect about Anurag and his company. Mr. Bajaj goes through the file and decides that it was now his time to go for the kill.
Here, Nivedita confronts Anurag and yells at him for involving her in the prevailing issues and the threat about Mr. Bajaj. They get involved in a fight, just when Anupam comes and takes Anurag with him as Prerna had come. Prerna informs Anurag that the police had come at their house and had taken Veena in their custody and that she had come to take Mohini with her to the police station so that she could get Veena released. Prerna requests Mohini to withdraw the case, however, Mohini tells Prerna that she wanted to know who had stolen the jewellery and hence she cannot interrupt the police investigation. While Nivedita seemed to understand Mohini’s wicked move, Anurag and Anupam insisted Mohini withdraws the case. Pretending to be nice in front of the children, Mohini tells Prerna that she was ready to go to the police station with her.
At the police station, Mohini changes colour and tells Anurag that they should not get Veena released, as she cannot trust her. She puts forward examples of Navin and Komolika whom they had trusted, but turned the other way. Anurag gives Veena his swear and tells her that if she loved him, she had to withdraw the case. Mohini did not want to upset Anurag and withdraws the case. She then tells Veena that she wanted to speak to her in private and takes her aside. Mohini tells Veena that she had withdrawn the case because of Anurag and that she did not think Prerna was a suitable match for Anurag. She also tells Veena that although she had withdrawn the case, she would not be able to wipe the muck that stained her image. Here, at the Basu Bari, Nivedita tells Anupam about how wrong she was to take her own mother wrong while she defended Veena all through.
