Kasautii Zindagii Kay July 5, 2019 written update: Prerna’s secret request
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Prerna does the unthinkable when Ronit's lawyer demands a death penalty for Anurag. Later, she puts forth a secret request to Mr Bajaj.
In the last episode, after the court's shocking decision, Prerna reveals her pregnancy secret to Bajaj. Elsewhere, Anurag and Mohini share a nostalgic moment. Prerna comes to meet Anurag with home-cooked food and while he praises her cooking, she feels sad to know that her marriage preparations with Mr. Bajaj would start the moment Anurag gets released from the jail. Anurag expresses his feelings to Prerna and tells her that they would plan for a child soon and not wait for long. The court’s hearing starts and the lawyer demands for capital punishment for Anurag. Mohini panics at the lawyer’s revelations while Prerna was given an assurity from Mr. Bajaj that he would get Anurag released and tells the lawyer to continue with the proceedings. Just then, Anurag’s lawyer Mr. Chatterjee comes and tells the court that he had evidences because of which he became late. He tells the court about how Ronit got Anurag to follow him to the chemical factory and trapped Anurag in his murder charges.
The lawyer tells the court that Ronit, with the help of the police had tampered the evidence and presents the proofs in front of the court. He proved that it was Ronit who had hit Anurag and that was evident from the CCTV footage. Prerna had given the lawyer the footage. The defence lawyer claimed that the footage was tampered; just when, Prerna gets up and reveals the veil that Ronit was hiding in. Ronit escapes the court by pulling out a gun. The court orders to set an enquiry on the police and releases Anurag with due respect. While Mohini and Nivedita were happy to see Anurag get released; Prerna was saddened that she would have to leave Anurag forever and marry Mr. Bajaj. Mr. Bajaj gets the news of Anurag’s release from the news channel and tells his manager to start preparing for his marriage with Prerna, which would be a private affair.
Anurag calls Mr. Bajaj and informs him about his release. Anurag tells Mr. Bajaj that he was defeated; however, Mr. Bajaj remains calm and tells Anurag that according to the game of chess, the winner is the one who has the queen. Anurag fails to understand his move and remains to be over-confident. Mohini and Nivedita prepares for Anurag’s grand welcome along with Veena and her family. Mohini and Veena reconciled while Prerna tells the lawyer to not tell anyone that she had given him the proofs because of which Anurag got released. Mohini calls Prerna and asks about her whereabouts. Prerna comes to Mr. Bajaj and tells him that Anurag had returned home and that he could start the preparations. She also requests Mr. Bajaj to not inform anyone about their marriage before it is complete.
