Kasautii Zindagii Kay July 23, 2019 Written Update: Anurag slaps Prerna
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Anurag slaps Prerna after she makes a shocking declaration. Later, he challenges Mr Bajaj while Nivedita is concerned about him.
In the last episode, a heartbroken Anurag sets Prerna's honeymoon suite on fire. Later, he confronts her about marrying Mr Bajaj. Anurag begs Prerna to tell the truth, however, Prerna decided to put up an act in order to help him move on in life and be able to stay without her. To Anurag’s shock, Prerna tells Anurag that she was in love with Mr. Bajaj. Anurag tells Prerna that he did not believe on her, but Prerna continued to enact. She hurts Anurag by saying hurtful words, so that he places his trust on her. She tells Anurag that in spite of Rajesh being loyal to the company, his mother calls him a servant and tells him that because she had spent her life in poverty, she had brewed a plan to trap him, so that she could live her life in luxury.
Prerna also tells Anurag that now that she had found Mr. Bajaj, who was richer than him, she chose to marry Mr. Bajaj and not him. Prerna’s revelations were difficult for Anurag to believe, but the conviction with which Prerna had faked the story, got him thinking. Prerna tells Anurag that he was just a target in her life and nothing more than that. Anurag slaps Prerna and makes her plan successful. Prerna wanted to hurt Anurag, in order to protect him for a bigger pain. Anurag tells Prerna that he would miss her, but after knowing the truth, he promises her that he would forget her soon.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bajaj was at the reception, waiting for the doctor, when he heard Nivedita worry about Anurag’s whereabouts. He stooped her and tells her that Anurag was in his room, while he came to fetch the doctor for him. Nivedita and Anupam lashes out at Mr. Bajaj and warns him about the consequences, if Anurag was in any kind of trouble because of him. Mr. Bajaj tells them to know the facts before they blame him and tells them to come along. Nivedita, Mr. Bajaj and Anupam comes in the room and find Prerna arguing with Anurag. Seeing Mr. Bajaj in the room, Anurag comes to him and accuses him for snatching his happiness and tells Mr. Bajaj that he would get Prerna back. Anurag tells Mr. Bajaj that since he got Prerna by his power of money, he would make sure he gets her back. Anurag decided to bring Prerna back, by making sure he earned money and get rich.
