Kasautii Zindagii Kay July 22, 2019 Written Update: Anurag confronts Prerna
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, a heartbroken Anurag sets Prerna's honeymoon suite on fire. Later, he confronts her about marrying Mr Bajaj.
In the last episode, after Nivedita berates her, Prerna finds peace in Anurag's memories. Elsewhere, a tensed Mohini is unable to locate Anurag. Mr. Bajaj gives a befitting reply to Prerna’s accusations. He tells Prerna that he had no intentions to come close to her while he could get any girl that he wanted. He also tells Prerna that she would not be able to understand the reason why he married her and that he would not use any woman for his business purpose, as he respected women. Mr. Bajaj’s revelations make Prerna wonder why had he married him, if it were not to belittle Anurag.
Meanwhile, Anurag feels heart-broken to see Prerna and Mr. Bajaj’s room for their nuptial night and in rage, burns the decorations. A flashback of memories come in front of a devastated Anurag and he gets shattered. Mr. Bajaj and Prerna reach the hotel and learn about the fire in their room. While Mr. Bajaj goes inside the room to fetch his file, Prerna insists she goes to get few belongings of hers which were a part of Anurag’s memories. Prerna and Mr. Bajaj goes inside and find Anurag inside and get shocked. Prerna tried to bring Anurag back to consciousness while Mr. Bajaj offered to get him a doctor.
Here, the police come to the Basu Bari and informs Mohini that Anurag was in Zurich. Mohini calls Nivedita and informs her about Anurag’s whereabouts. Anurag regains consciousness in Mr. Bajaj’s room while Prerna looked after him. As soon as he finds Prerna near him, Anurag despise of Prerna and tells her to not fake concern. Anurag demanded to know why did Prerna betray him and apologized to hurt her while he was married to Komolika. Prerna decides to put up an act while Anurag kept on asking Prerna the reason for her betrayal. He offered Prerna to go back home with him, however, seeing Prerna behave indifferent, he begs her to tell him the reason, she won’t go back with him.
