Kasautii Zindagii Kay July 17, 2019 Written Update: Veena to confront Prerna
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Mohini tells Nivedita to represent Basu Publications in Switzerland. Meanwhile, a furious Veena enters the Bajaj mansion to confront Prerna.
In the last episode, Mohini is shocked to learn about Prerna's marriage while Shivani rebukes the latter over the phone. Later, Mohini's violent outburst stuns Veena. Seeing Veena in continuous denial, Nivedita shows Veena a photograph that Ronit had sent her. Veena gets shocked to see Prerna with Mr. Bajaj at the wedding dias. Mohini insults Veena and demanded to know how much money did she get to strike a deal with Mr. Bajaj. Veena feels guilty and was apologetic towards Mohini. She bends down and apologizes for Prerna’s unreasonable move, but Mohini was uncontrollable. She goes on insulting Veena and lashes out at her. Mohini curses Prerna and tells Veena that the way her son was suffering, Prerna would have to face her karma and will suffer for the rest of her life. Mohini tells Veena that Prerna will yearn for happiness and will face heartbreak, just like Anurag did.
Mohini and Nivedita storms out and Veena yells at Shivani for hiding the truth from her. Shivani tells Veena that by the time she came to know about Prerna’s marriage, she was already married to Mr. Bajaj. Veena sobs and doubts her upbringing. Veena gets emotional and goes to Mr. Bajaj’s house. She gets shocked, as the staff tells her that Prerna and Mr. Bajaj had left for Switzerland. Here, the doctor sees Anurag in immense pain, but was helpless, as he could not tell Anurag about Prerna’s visit. Mohini breaks down and tells Moloy that Anurag had gone through immense pain because of Prerna and that he would not be able to put himself together soon.
Mohini tells Moloy that she would have to take action and work towards making Anurag strong. She tells Moloy that she will make sure that Anurag would be able to stand strong and face both, Mr. Bajaj and Prerna. Nivedita comes to Anurag and tells him about the Switzerland deal which he should go and crack, in order to divert his mind, however, seeing him sit like a lifeless man, she goes away, crying. Nivedita comes out and tells Anupam about Anurag’s reaction, just when Mohini comes and tells Nivedita that she did not expect her children to fall weak in front of anyone. Mohini motivates Nivedita to go to Switzerland and tells her to bag the contract for Basu Publications. She also tells her that Mr. Bajaj and Prerna would also be there in the meeting and that she had to gracefully present the proposal and put all her efforts towards defeating Mr. Bajaj and Prerna.
