Prerna's father Rajesh succumbs to his injuries and dies.
Prerna and Anurag's love story had just began to blossom but just then they had to face some of the biggest challenges of their lives. Both of them are facing the worst situation of their lives. In the previous episodes we have seen how Komolika had plotted the death of Moloy and Rajesh who had met with a terrible accident. Now both their lives seem to be in danger despite receiving the best medical treatments. In the previous episode, Komolika was seen making a deal with Anurag that he should marry her in order to bring everything in place for the Basu family. Komolika also went ahead and brought a doctor on her own who declared that Moloy had gone into a state of come and that Rajesh's condition is extremely critical.
It seems from the predictions that Rajesh is going to die soon. In the promo of the upcoming episode, both Prerna ans Veena could be seen enquiring about Rajesh's present condition. However, the doctor apologises to them by saying that presently he cannot do anything which makes them ask him to provide the complete details regarding Rajesh's condition. The doctor finally reveals that they could not save Rajesh as he had succumed to his injuries. Now, it is yet to be known whether Rajesh died naturally or did Komolika have anything to do with this. It will also be interesting to see when Anurag will let Prerna know about his decision to marry Komolika.
It is yet to be revealed regarding what will be Prerna's reaction to the sudden changes coming up in her life.
