Today, in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, we see how Komolika keeps a condition in front of Anurag to make everything right only if Anurag agreed to marry Komolika.
In the previous episode, we have seen how Pragya requests Anurag to do whatever he can to save Rajesh’s life when Anurag remembers Komolika telling Mohini about the doctor in London that she had who was an expert. The doctors come out of the operation theatre and inform everyone that Rajesh and Moloy both were very critical and that saving his life wasn’t easy. Anurag comes to visit Komolika at her house to ask for help when Komolika tricks Anurag and tells him that Moloy had come to visit Komolika’s dad and he had promised Komolika’s and Anurag’s marriage in return of the government project that Komolika’s dad was giving Moloy which could save Basu publication. Anurag did not want to listen to everything Komolika was saying and he asked Komolika whether or not she will help him call the doctor and save Rajesh for Prerna.
Komolika tells Anurag that she will save everything from saving Basu Publication to saving his house but only on one condition that Anurag will have to marry Komolika. Anurag ridicules Komolika and tells her that to marry someone one only needs love and not deals. Anurag lashes out at Komolika and goes from her house saying that his problem is something that he can handle. Anurag reaches the hospital and sees Nivedita panic as Basu Publication was falling apart and that the house was also on mortgage hence if the company falls apart, the house will also be taken by the government as compensation and they will be homeless. Here, the doctor informs Anurag that no medicine was healing Moloy and Rajesh and that their condition was still the same which Mohini overhears and breaks down.
Anurag falls in a dilemma whether or not should he agree to do as Komolika said and save everything for his family and Prerna. Anurag promises Prerna that he will make sure everything becomes normal and that he will do everything that’s in his control to make sure things are alright. Anurag calls Komolika and tells her to call the doctor on an immediate basis which implies that he was ready to agree on everything Komolika had demanded. The doctors come and in the news, Anurag sees that the share prices of Basu Publication also increase as Komolika convinced her dad to give the contract to Basu Publication. The specialist doctor informs everyone that Moloy had one in coma.
