Kasautii Zindagii Kay August 30, 2019 Written Update: Anurag tries to commit suicide
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, a dejected Anurag decides to commit suicide while Mr Bajaj throws a party after receiving a good news. Later, Nivedita feels insulted by Prerna's action.
In the last episode, Nivedita is shocked to spot a dejected Anurag while Prerna tends to Mr Bajaj. Later, Tanvi concocts a plan to separate them. Anurag confronted Prerna about the hug she gave Mr. Bajaj publically and tells her that he felt weird. Prerna lies to Anurag and tells him that she loved money and since Mr. Bajaj had a lot of money, she chose to marry him. Prerna suggests that Anurag move on and find someone in the wide world, however, he tells Prerna that he longed for her love and did not need anyone else. Prerna tells Anurag that it wasn’t possible in this life and that he would have to face the truth.
Here, Suman berates Mr. Bajaj but Veena comes to his defence and tells her that although Mr. Bajaj had flaws, his heart was at the right place. Rishabh comes to the office and gets a good news about cracking a very important deal at work. He announces a party at his house and calls Prerna to inform him about the same. The party starts and Prerna takes care of the guests. One of the guest tells Sharda how lucky she was to have Prerna as Mrs. Bajaj as she was very charming.
Anurag comes to his room dejected, and reminisces the time spent with Prerna. Anurag also remembered all the time he saw Prerna with Mr. Bajaj, caring for him and supporting him. In rage, he picks up a knife and attempted to commit suicide by cutting a nerve in his hand. Before he could harm himself, he remembered that he cannot let Rishabh get Prerna so easily and that he cannot give up on Prerna just yet. Prerna grabs everyone’s attention and makes an announcement. She tells everyone that the party was kept in honour of Mr. Verma, an employee in Rishabh’s company, who had cracked a deal with Kolkata Daily News and felicitates him with a bouquet.
Nivedita hears the announcement and gets shocked. She comes to Prerna dejected and accuses Prerna for trying to berate her failure at work, as she was competing for the same deal with Kolkata Daily News. Nivedita comes to Mohini and tells her about Prerna and Bajaj’s evil plan. Mohini feels sympathetic for Nivedita and cursed Prerna for making her children cry. Elsewhere, Mr. Bajaj accidentally hit Anurag’s car and Anurag takes out his frustration on him. Mr. Bajaj shrugs Anurag’s unreasonable arguments and leaves.
