Kasautii Zindagii Kay April 23, 2019 Written Update: Prerna’s unpredictable move
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, recently freed from prison, Prerna brings home a mysterious guest, much to the Basus' dismay. Elsewhere, the Sharmas are worried about her whereabouts.
In the previous episode, Komolika is infuriated upon learning that Anurag met Prerna in prison. Later, a dejected Veena is offered consolation when she gets a helping hand. Prerna comes to the Basu Bari where Nivedita and Komolika gets shocked to see her. Anurag and Anupam also wondered how did Prerna manage to come out of the court. Komolika asks Prerna how did she manage to come as she had a court hearing and blames her to run from the prison, as that was the only possibility which would allow her to come to the Basu Bari. Komolika threatened to call the police to get Prerna arrested again just when Prerna stopped Komolika and tells her how she bribed the police to let her go. Nivedita and Komolika wondered how did Prerna manage to bribe the police as she did not come from a rich family. Komolika got curious to know how did Prerna manage to get free just when Anurag demanded to know how did Prerna manage to escape.
Prerna tells Anurag that there were some people who still volunteered to help people when they see them fighting for the truth. Anurag tried to dig further and told Prerna how nobody helps anyone without a reason however Prerna dismisses his objection and tells him that whenever she will come to know about the person’s intention she will look into the matter then. Prerna also tells Anurag how that person wanted Prerna’s help to solve his issues. Anurag wanted to know who the person was and becomes impatient to know the truth. Prerna tells him that there was someone who turned out to be a better match for her than Anurag was to her. Seeing Prerna beat around the bush, Anurag rushed outside to see who accompanied Prerna till the Basu Bari. In the meantime, Prerna mocks Komolika and asks her about the reason which made Anurag get impatient to know who she was with. Komolika tells Prerna to stop playing her mind games with her as Anurag was her husband while Prerna was a nobody.
Prerna tells Komolika how she learned from her the reason by which she could get Anurag back in her life as she claimed that Anurag was behind money and power which only Komolika could give him. Anurag comes back and tells everyone that there was nobody outside. Seeing Anurag get impatient, Prerna tells Anurag that the person who helped her was someone which will make him shocked. She calls the person and requests him to come to the Basu Bari as Anurag and Komolika wanted to meet him. The man agrees to come and leaves for the Basu Bari. Prerna tells Anurag that the man was very fond of Komolika and Anurag and that he knows them very well. The man introduces himself as Vikrant and Anurag gets furious to see him in the Basu Bari. Vikrant comes and tells Anurag that he wouldn’t let Anurag forget him. Anurag warned Prerna not to trust Vikrant however Prerna tells Anurag that she was with Vikrant like he was with Komolika.
Vikrant confronts Komolika and tells her how she told him that the scores should always be settled between two people. Vikrant leaves the Basu house telling Prerna to meet him for a business deal at 3pm. Later, Komolika asks Prerna about how did she get to know about Vikrant and who had helped her. Prerna warned Komolika to beware of her as she was in her hit list.
