Kasautii Zindagii Kay April 17, 2019 Written Update: Veena slaps Anurag
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, an infuriated Komolika berates the guests at the party. Elsewhere, Veena slaps Anurag in prison for his atrocities towards Prerna.
In the previous episode, the Basu's plan a party to celebrate Prerna's arrest while Anurag visits her in the jail. Later, Komolika threatens to kill Moloy Basu. Anurag threatens to kill Komolika and tells Anurag that all his family members will die. Anurag’s stance breaks and his imagination comes to an end. Anurag decides not to go to the station to get Prerna out from the prison by telling the truth which might aggravate Komolika’s anger towards Prerna. He decides to let Prerna hate him so that she would leave him and go. Here, Mohini and Nivedita announce the muh-dikhai ceremony of Komolika while Nivedita tells them about Prerna’s forceful behaviour. Anupam listens to Nivedita’s plea and regrets. Everyone asks for Komolika just when she comes down. Everyone praises Komolika’s beauty and Mohini tells everyone that Komolika was her daughter-in-law.
Mrs. Bhattacharya mocks Komolika and asks her whether or not Anurag was with Prerna as she couldn’t see him in the party. Komolika gets angry on her however Mohini takes her aside and tells her not to lose her patience. Komolika tells Mohini that feared Anurag to be with Prerna and that if at all he was with her, Prerna might come to the Basu house again. Here, Anurag comes to see how Prerna was and puts up an act and tells Prerna that she was behind bars as she forcefully wanted to impose herself on him. Anurag tries to manipulate the truth and tells Prerna to move on in life and not take the marriage so seriously. He tells Prerna that he was willing to help her for the last time but in return she will never return in his life again. Prerna listened to Anurag patiently and when he finishes, she tells Anurag that if she had committed the mistake to love him, she will suffer alone.
She tells Anurag that the sindoor she puts wasn’t just a piece of decoration but a proof that he was imprinted on her for life. Prerna tells Anurag to leave as she was not ready to back out from the marriage. Seeing Prerna being adamant, Anurag gets angry on her and tells her not to play with her life. Just then Veena comes and seeing Anurag speak rudely with Prerna she slaps him. Veena belittles Anurag and blames him for being someone who has forgotten all his values. She holds Anurag for Prerna’s condition. Anurag puts himself together and gives Veena the same offer that he had given Prerna. Veena tells Anurag to leave and denied to take his help. Here, Komolika tries to call Anurag but he doesn’t pick her call. Anurag on his way back, recollects everything that Prerna told and worries about her as she was resolute to carry on being his wife. Seeing Komolika call Anurag repeatedly, he gets furious and throws his phone. Mishka comes to see Komolika who gets shocked to learn about Prerna being in the jail.
