Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki - 25th September 2017 written update - Rishi gets emotional in court

The episode begins with the court proceedings. Abhi’s lawyer calls Rishi into the witness box and continues by blaming Rishi and the entire Bedi family claiming that a woman never leaves her husband’s house until pushed to do so due to torture. And that 7 years back he didn’t even know that Tanuja was pregnant when she left the house. Rishi justifies himself by saying the has never loved any woman the way he has loved Tanu or after her and that during the time that Tanu was with him, she never spoke of the emotional hardships she was going through. At this point Tanuja upset at hearing this says, that she had tried to tell him, many times, but he refused to listen to her because he always took his mother’s words over hers.

Rishi gets extremely emotional and says that just as a mother is essential and important in the upbringing of a child, so is a father. That he was never given the chance to father his daughter and that he missed Natasha’s entire childhood and nothing has caused him more pain than that. He says that even though he was not there for his daughter’s first steps, he wants to be a part of her life from here on. He adds to it saying that he loves his daughter dearly, and folds his hands in front of the judge asking for a chance to be able to be the father of his child.

Abhi’s lawyer realising the appeal that Rishi has made is causing the case to lean towards him, pretends to have a heart attack and the judge takes the call of postponing the hearing.

Later, Abhi comes towards Rishi and mocks Rishi and comments about his emotional performance in court and that this may lead to him perhaps winning the case for custody. He continues to say that all that is left to do is for the Bedi family to now prove that they can bring up Natasha better than Tanuja ever could. To this Rishi says that they have nothing to prove and that Tanuja will take care of Natasha just as they will do. He sadly says that only he is losing out on everything, looks at Tanuja and leaves.

In the courtroom, the judge sees Naitra sitting upset in a corner. She approaches her and says that for the first time she saw so much pain in a father’s eyes. She adds to it saying that she knows the truth that Naitra has been hiding from Rishi, and that for seven years of his life he lived without his daughter and suffered, but that if she doesn’t reveal the truth will continue to suffer forever and then walks away angry. At this point Rishi comes and tells Naitra that they are leaving and they go.

Once home Naitra asks Rishi if he wants anything and he tells her that he wants Tanuja and Natasha and sadly leaves from there. Naitra thinks of how she loved a happy and jolly Rishi, but now life has made him sad and broken.

Abhi’s lawyer goes to Abhi’s house to give them facts about the case. He tells Tanu that the case is leaning towards Rishi as he has played a very emotional appeal of the importance of a father’s role in his daughter life, which is why he had to pretend to have a heart attack to gain some time, to plan things out. Hearing this Tanu is upset and afraid that Rishi may get the custody of Natasha and that Natasha will be taken away from her. At this point the lawyer assures her that until and unless he is able to prove to the court that Natasha is a bad mother and not capable of taking care of Natasha, Natasha cannot be taken away from her.

Naitra while in the kitchen is thinking about the judge’s words to her and is worried if indeed the judge is aware of the truth.

Abhi is working when Rohit comes and says that he found a ring in his office. Abhi replies saying that he had bought it for Tanu, but that she told him she loves Rishi. Rohit reassures Abhi that she was probably just emotional and that if she really loved him, she would have taken Natasha to him. Abhi agrees to what Rohit is saying and says that even when he asked her if she wants to go to Rishi, she said no, she wants to stay with him only. So he decides to propose to her. At this point Abhi turns around to see Tanu standing at the door, and hides the ring. Tanu asks him what he wants, and he gets a bit tensed.

Next Episode- Rishi puts a bandage on Tanu’s finger. And flirts with her, when suddenly they hear Abhi coming and Rishi hides.
