The Kapil Sharma Show June 17 Written Update- Diljit Dosanjh the Super Singh confesses that he is a fan of Kiku Sharda’s energy
Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa came to promote their movie Super Singh and laughed till their stomach ached.
Kiku Sharda started the show as Baccha Yadav the owner of Baccha Yadav Dughdhalay. He says that babies love buffaloes because ‘Baby ko bhais pasand hai.’ Rochelle Rao, Sumona Chakravati and Kiku dance on ‘Baby ko base pasand hai.’ Kapil Sharma and Kiku have a funny fight time convincing their costumers as to who is the real ‘Baccha Yadav.’ Kumkum Bhagya fame Supriya Shukla was an interesting addition to Kapil’s team. She showed the viewers that she has a great comedy timing. Just like Kapil, she cracked jokes on Sumona’s lips and made us laugh. After a long time Baccha Yadav showed us his ‘ismile’ moment.
Punjabi superstar, Super Singh Diljit Dosanjh sang his very popular Punjabi songs and transformed the stage into a dance floor. Kapil welcomed him by saying that he is very proud that a Punjabi actor has come this far in Bollywood. Dosanjh won a Filmfare for his very first film. Kapil and Diljit spoke in their broken English and the audience cracked up. Female lead of the film Super Singh, the stunning Sonam Bajwa came on stage. She has done 3 films with Diljit and Kapil asked her whether she signs a film by reading the script or by reading Diljit’s name? Diljit says it was difficult being the first superhero of Punjab specially while going to the toilet wearing the costume. Kapil asks him which superpower does he want in real life. Like a true Punjabi he says he wants a superpower where he eats as much as he wants and never gains weight. People from the audience share their funny expectations of superpowers.
Diljit Dosanjh charmed us by singing Kishore Kumar’s classic song ‘O Mere Dil Ke Chain.’ Kapil also joined him and it was indeed beautiful. Baccha and his buffalo came to meet the guests. He makes some awesome puns on Diljit and Sonam’s names. He wore superhero clothes but wore a dhoti too. He said that he had sponsorship only for the top and not for the bottom. He made a Kaccha and made Diljit sing a song on his Kaccha. He changed the lyrics of ‘Proper Patola’ and made it ‘Proper Kaccha.’ We have to say that Kiku Sharda is one of the USPs of this show. His jokes always make us roll on the floor laughing! Even Diljit confessed that he is fan of Kiku’s energy. Kapil plays a peanut eating competition where they have to throw the peanut in the air and then eat it. Superhero Diljit showed them his swag by eating all the peanuts.
Diljit danced on ‘Aankho Ki Gustakiyan Maaf Ho’ with a female fan. He also sang ‘Ikk Kudi’ from the film Udta Punjab for a fan. His voice is as charming as he his. We could listen to his soulful voice all day! Rochelle, Kiku and Sumona came dressed as ‘The Gidda Girls.’ The turn popular Bollywood songs into Gidda songs and make the guests jump out of their seats laughing. Diljit also sings an impromptu Gidda and Kiku Sharda dances in fast motion. Kapil says he sang so well that the real characters of our cast came out. Diljit and Sonam’s film Super Singh is already in cinemas. Knowing the kind of entertainer that Diljit is, we are sure that Super Singh will be a paisa wasool film! To be continued.
