In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show we see how Padmini Kolhapure and Shakti Kapoor share their film industry experience with the audience and Kapil Sharma has an entertaining conversation with the star cast of Family of Thakurgunj
The episode starts with Kapil Sharma making an entry on the stage and talks about the guest for tonight. He shares that the 1st guest had made an entry in the film industry at the age of 13 then acted in a lot of other famous movies. He calls on stage Padmini Kolhapure. Padmini shares that she made an entry in the film industry at the age of 7. She shares that she wanted to be a playback singer and her grandmother insisted that Padmini gets into acting. She tells that Dev Anand gave her the first break.
Kapil asks her to sing and she doesn't disappoint. Kapil joins her too. Kapil next calls on stage Shakti Kapoor. Shakti shares how he met his wife who is also Padmini's sister. Shakti shares what was his father's reaction when he watched his first movie. Chandan Prabhakar makes an entry on the stage. The skit gets over and Kapil asks how the movie Qurbani happened and Shakti shares the story. Kapil asks the audience about the different traditions and rituals conducted during marriages of different castes in India.
Kapil announces a tribute by the various actors of the show for the guests. The performance ends and a selfie is taken. Kapil now calls on stage the cast of Family of Thakurgunj Saurabh Shukla, Jimmy Shergil, Pawan Malhotra and Mahi Gill. Kapil asks Mahi on how she landed the role in the movie Dev D after doing a lot of Punjabi movies. Mahi tells that her mother wanted her to become a singer. Kapil asks Saurabh to share his experience while working on Bandit Queen. Pawan Malhotra and Mahi Gill perform on the song 'Tip Tip Barsa paani'. The episode ends with the audience applauding the performance
