The Kapil Sharma Show April 21, 2019 Written Update: The Kishore Kumar family on the Show tonight
Today we see and know from Amit Kumar, Sumit Kumar, and Leena Chandavarkar the life of the legendary Kishore Kumar.
The episode starts with Kapil Sharma telling Archana how special this episode is as they are paying a tribute to one of the legends of Indian music industry, Kishore Kumar. The guests tonight are Amit Kumar - Son of the great Kishore Kumar. He comes on stage and performs how his father used to perform for his audience. Kapil asks him how difficult was it to continue the legacy of Kishore Kumar. He also shares his experience of working with the legends like RD Burman, Mannna Dey, Laxmikant Pyarelal, etc.
He tells about his attempt at learning classical music. The conversation goes on and Kapil expresses how much he's enjoying the conversation. He later calls on stage Leena Chandavarkar and Kishore's second son, Sumit Kumar. Amit shares an incident that involved Kishore Kumar, Amit Kumar and Sumit Kumar. Amit tells Kapil that his family is also present and introduces them to him. Chandan Prabhakar comes on stage and soon Sapna joins him and they start their skit.
After a humorous show they leave the stage. The conversation continues and Amit shares how the evergreen song 'Roop tera mastana' was composed. Kapil persuades Leena to sing too. Kapil tells the guests that there is a special show put up by all the stars on the show. Krushna, Chandan, Kiku along with the background dancers put up a skit cum dance performance on some of the most famous songs of Kishore Kumar. The guests and audience are in awe of the show and appreciate it. Amit expresses how he relived the songs because of the skit put up by the stars. The show ends with a selfie
