Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum August 7, 2019 Written Update: Rohit and Sonakshi share their past

In today’s episode, Sonakshi insists Rohit to come home. She tells him that his house is far away so it’ll take time to reach and she can’t risk having India’s best surgeons hand get damaged because of an untreated wound. Rohit asks Ravi to get Sonakshi’s car by the time she dresses his wound. The Sippy’s are playing Rummy and having pakoras. Soon Deepa and Aakash enter the house completely drenched. Veena asks Deepa where Rohit is as he left with her. Meanwhile, Sonakshi asks Rohit to take a seat while she gets him a towel and first aid. She asks him to take his watch off and begins to dress his wound. Rohit admires Sonakshi as she applies him first aid. 

After a while, Rohit promptly asks Sonakshi was she out of her mind to get engaged to Karan? Sonakshi feels hurt by this and Rohit apologizes for intruding in her personal life. Sonakshi forgives him and tells him that she knew Karan from Delhi since their childhood. After 7 years of her family moving to Mumbai, she saw Karan one day and felt weirdly attracted to him. At that point in life, she was alone and looking for support when she found a known friend in an unknown city. She tells Rohit that she did her part in maintaining that relationship but Karan turned out to be a monster. Rohit holds her hand as she struggles to talk about the horrific night that changed her life. Rohit tells her that he is no longer in his life so why is she letting him affect her to which Sonakshi says that some memories that change your life just stay with you no matter what you do. As she finishes her story she sees Rohit thinking deeply about something. She tells him that she can see the same hurt in his eyes that were once in hers because of Karan. She asks him who was that one person for him.

Rohit reveals to her that it was a girl named Raima. She holds his hand as he talks about uttering Raima’s name after 4 years. He tells her that she will never come back and nobody can replace her in his life. Sonakshi tells her that waiting for her is of no use and that he needs to give life another chance. They realize they were holding hands and awkwardly let go. Rohit decides to leave as it is quite late. At the Sippy’s, Veena tells everyone that all the roads are jam-packed because of the rains and that Rohit is safe at Sonakshi’s house. She has asked Ravi to inform Rohit to stay back at Sonakshi’s house to avoid danger. Later, Veena tries calling Rohit again but is unable to contact him. She talks to herself how in Sonakshi’s serial “Kahani Parvati Ki” Kunal too gets stuck in the rains and Parvati had to come all the way to save him. Vimmi overhears Veena and feels happy that she too watches that serial. Veena threatens her to not speak about this to anybody to which Vimmi puts forth a condition to allow her to watch the Maha Episode of the serial on the big TV. 

At Sonakshi’s house, Ravi informs Rohit that Veena has asked him to stay back. Sonakshi also insists Rohit to stay as Mumbai is on high alert due to the rains. He reminds her how she let him sleep on a bench with mosquitoes all around the last time he stayed back. She giggles and tells him that she had given him a blanket and a mosquito repellent but he didn’t ask for any help. Soon there’s a power cut and Rohit walks towards Sonakshi in the dark saying that Malabar Hills never has power cuts, unlike Goregaon. He trips and falls over Sonakshi. Sonakshi blushes and awkwardly leaves to get the emergency light. Rohit sits at the dinner table and Sonakshi gets a tacky looking colorful emergency light. Rohit mocks the light saying that Sonakshi probably received it as a gift. Later, Veena calls Sonakshi to ask about Rohit and as Rohit talks to her the Sippy’s house also has a power cut. Sonakshi laughs at the irony and teases Rohit by saying how badly rains have affected Mumbai that even Malabar Hills is facing power cut. She mocks him and asks him to take the tacky emergency light as it will work not only in Goregaon but also in Malabar Hills. They both burst out laughing at the situation. Pari stands afar and looks at them with disgust feeling angry.
