Ishqbaaz September 1 written update: Shivaay Singh Oberoi has to spend a day as a common man
Tej is trapped all over again by Svetlana.
Shivaay sneaks into Anika's room to spend some quality time with her. As the two of them start to talk, they hear dadi looking for Anika and a panicked Anika hides Shivaay in her room.
Rudra enters just in time to distract dadi and saves Shivaay and Anika from getting caught.
Shakti shouts at Pinki for blaming Anika for all the troubles and for bringing bad luck to the Oberoi mansion. Anika overhears their conversation and feels extremely bad for Pinki.
Later Anika is touched when Shivaay calls for a pav bhaji stall in the Oberoi mansion. She makes Shivaay trythe
chowpati style pav bhaji and the two spend quality time together. She tries to talk to Shivaay about Pinki and suggests that he should reconcile with her but Shivaay avoids the topic and walks out.
Next morning everybody is shocked by dadi's next challenge. Character swap! Dadi tells Anika and Shivaay that their next challenge is to enact each other. Shivaay enacts Anika very well and now it's Anika's turn. Anika imitates Shivaay brilliantly but as soon as she gets done, Pinki intervenes and starts her drama again. She tries to convince Shivaay to accept her again and begs him for forgiveness but he walks out leaving Pinki sad. Anika tries to convince Shivaay but all goes in vain.
Dadi challenges Shivaay to live in Anika's house for a day just like how Anika lived before getting married to Shivaay. Dadi gives Shivaay Rs. 200 and tells him to survive the day with that money like a common man.
Anika and Shivaay take a rickshaw to Anika's house and Shivaay's troubles as a common man begin.
As Tej leaves a note in Jhanvi's food to warn her about Svetlana's intentions, Svetlana intervenes and stops Jhanvi from reading that note. Tej tries to inform the police that he is trapped but refrains from doing so. Svetlana blackmails Tej and reminds him of all the proof she has against him, Tej gets furious at Svetlana.
Gauri and Omkara reach their destination only to find the Shiva idol missing.
