Ishqbaaz Written Update September 24 2018: Anika in deep grief as Shivaay consoles her

Majnu prepares breakfast for the Oberoi family and persists them to taste it. On the table, Dadi is worried if Shivaay had eaten something or not, Majnu comforts her and reminds her of her medicine, which leaves everyone bewildered. Shivaay aka Majnu defends himself. On tasting the food, the Oberoi family is stunned as it matches with the taste in Shivaay’s hand. Mohit along with Tej loses his temper and warns everyone that Shivaay won’t be saved as he is a culprit. Shivaay believes that Mohit’s bitterness is legit.
Next, he sneaks in and enters the crime scene in search of a clue. He finds a button which resembles his waistcoat , but on cross-checking, there is no button missing from his piece of clothing. He understands that it was not him but someone else in similar clothes. Anika is downhearted and is yearning to see Shivay.. Majnu sees Anika grief-stricken and tells her to close her eyes as he continues , “Dil se sunogi toh mei awaaz zarur ayegi” Anika opens her eyes and is startled .
As Shivaay is walking past he hears Tej’s conversation which is weird. Tej catches him eavesdropping and creates a scene. He blames Shivaay for sending Majnu in the form of a spy. He throws him out of the house while Omru advocates for him. Dadi also shows her support and asks Tej to calm down, as Lord Ganesha has graced their house. Tej is offended and feels as if Shivaay has incited Omru against him. Besides, Shivaay is trying to solve button mystery which leads him to Mohit but he is not present in his room. Anika finds Majnu outside Mohit’s room and raises a question, to which he replies that Shivaay has asked him to take special care of Mohit. Anika bursts out as she desperately wants to talk to Shivaay and requests him to make it possible. Shivaay feels sorry and wants to gather more information about Nancy. He enters Anika’s room and with the help of her phone calls his sources. Meanwhile, Dadi tells Priyanka that if we miss someone and want that person to realize it, Diya should be ignited on his name. Anika does the same and comes to her room with Diya in her hand. Suddenly, Majnu hides himself and phone rings.. he throws the phone on bed and Anika finds him outside her room.
