Ishqbaaaz Written Update June 21 2017: 3 months later- Omkara in coma, Shivaay determined to continue his treatment
The story has taken a 3-month leap, Omkara is in coma, Shivaay and Tej debate over continuing his treatment.
The episode starts with the family discussing Omkara’s illness. Tej tries to explain Shivaay that Omkara is not responding for 3 months. He says all the doctors have said that there is no hope and they must accept it. The family is heartbroken when he says that there is no hope of Omkara getting well. Flashback is shown where Omkara falls down from the stairs and Gauri yells. Tej says that we should not keep him alive like this as there is no hope of him coming out of the coma, we must let him go. Gauri says this can’t. She starts crying. Shivaay hugs her and says he won’t let anything happen to Omkara. Shivaay says Omkara will have to come back, he will fight with God if there is a need. Te says he will not let Shivaay make decisions for his son. He says he wants his son to die with dignity and won’t let him live like a vegetable. Shivaay says he won’t let him do that. Tej says he is no one to decide for others, he could not save his marriage and is talking about saving lives. Shivaay leaves on his bike angrily.
Pinky calls Anika and says she cannot see her son like this. She tells her that Shivaay has left on his bike very angrily and only she can stop him. Shivaay is seen riding the bike aggressively. He reaches a mountain cliff and is stopped by Ragini. Anika is upset because she is not able to find a job and thinks she is a burden on Chanda. Chanda tells her to think about Sahil and how she will pay his hostel fees. Anika is also worried about his fees. Someone is sitting behind Anika at the tea stall drinking alcohol. He walks towards the chawl. He sees Anika crying and stops looking at her. Pinky thanks Ragini for getting Shivaye back. She says he used to drive the car in the speed limit in video games, now he does not care for his life. She tells Ragini that she has done her a huge favor. Ragini says she hasn’t done any favor, just kept the friendship. Pinky says he will agree to everything that she says. Shivay asks what is she saying. Ragini says she is getting engaged to Siddharth tomorrow and it is happening because of Shivaay. She says she stayed here for two days after her accident and got time to think about her relationship and because of that Siddharth and she patched up. She tells him that her grandmother says such cat-eyed people are lucky for others. She uses the word Kanji. Shivay recalls Anika teasing him. He tells her to not use that word again. Pinky congratulates her and asks her whether Shivaay has met Siddharth. He says he doesn’t go to parties and hasn’t met Siddharth. He goes. Pinky tells Ragini not to worry, she will send him for the engagement.
Anika sees Shivay’s video and recalls him. She sits crying. The guy sees her. He does shayari and offers tea. She refuses. He says he doesn’t talk to strangers but thought she needed this. She takes the tea. He says sorrow is like a sea, learn to swim, you will learn how to live. She says of he had learned them wouldn’t be drinking alcohol at this time. She goes. He looks at someone’s picture and does Sad shayari. Guard tells him that Madam has called him. The guy stumbles. Guard holds him. The guy says Samar does not need support. He wears his shades.
