Ishqbaaaz October 23 written update: Shivaay, Omkaara, and Rudra celebrate Diwali with the family
Shivaay has a special Diwali surprise for Anika.
Bhavya and Anika are busy prepping for Diwali and make the rangoli. Bhavya and Anika get very emotional on celebrating Diwali with the family. Shivaay overhears their conversation and feels bad about the fact that Anika had such a tough childhood in the orphanage. Bhavya and Anika console each other and get back to their Diwali preps.
Rudra being the naughty boy scares and pranks everyone in the house. Anika panics as all her belongings from her room disappear only to realize that Shivaay shifted all her belongings to his cupboard ignoring the fact about Tanya's blackmail.
Shivaay brings Anika a Diwali present, her bracelet that Shivaay had mistakenly broken and on seeing this Anika gets very emotional.
Gauri hides inside the Oberoi mansion and feels sad for not being able to let the family know that she too is present in the house.
Pinki and Tej have a tiff over who out of Shivaay, Omkara, and Rudra should do the aarti. Shivaay makes sure all the three of them do the aarti together. ShiOmRu do the aarti together and celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali. Anika, Bhavya, and Gauri get emotional on seeing ShiOmRu doing the pooja together.
Gauri hides from Omkaara inside the Oberoi mansion and runs away from him, Omkara follows her, Gauri's dupatta catches fire and in order to save her, Omkara burns his hands.
Shivaay has a surprise for Anika, as he decorates their room full of lights to impress her. He does all those things which Anika could never experience in her childhood and Anika gets teary-eyed on seeing all of this.
