Ishqbaaz May 2 written update: Shivaay-Anika, Omkara-Gauri get engaged

Shivaay enters the house calling for Omkara furiously. He confronts Omkara about Gauri. He tells him that he has broken his promise and that has let him down today. 

Shivaay brings Gauri home and reveals that she is Omkara's wife. The entire family is shocked to see hear this. Dadi asks Omkara if this is true. Omkara tries to explain himself to Shivaay as Shivaay expresses his disappointment. 

Amidst this, fake Shwetlana enters Oberoi mansion and warns Gauri telling her that she will kill her. She moves towards Gauri but Anika comes in between them. The Oberois stand in between Gauri and Shwetlana protecting her. Police again come and arrest Shwetlana. 

Omkara tries to explain himself to Shivaay yet again. He seeks forgiveness from Shivaay. Rudra comes and tells them that they were tangled in their own problems and forgot to pay attention to their youngest brother but he could see and sense everything. 

The family shares some light moments. Shivaay says that they will perform all the functions for Gauri to which Dadi says that the function will happen for both Gauri and Anika. It is decided that the ring ceremony will take place today. 

Shivaay asks Gauri to invite her family members to which Gauri says that her father is no more. Shivaay tells her from today she is not alone as she is part of their family. On the other hand, Nayantara conspires to take advantage of the situation. 

Shivaay asks Anika about Sahil and tells her to keep him safe and keep it safe. Omkara questions Gauri why did she come back to which Gauri says she was going when Shivaay got her back. 

Rudra tells Dadi that there is no such girl who can make him Ishqbaaz. Simultaneously, we see a girl gazing at the stars. Meanwhile, Gauri and Anika bond with each other. Jhanvi brings clothes and jewellery for Gauri and asks Pinky is she has given clothes to Anika to which Pinky taunts Anika and says she has nothing for her. Anika tells that she will wear whatever she has. 

Shivaay tells the brothers that Nayantara is not Anika's mother and he is trying to know the source of the conspiracy. 

Shivaay and Omkara are awestruck watching Gauri and Anika descent off the stairs. Anika is about to fall when Shivaay saves her in style and they share an eye lock. Gauri looks with anticipation at Omkara but he is indifferent. 

Anika tells Shivaay to leave her hand but Shivaay says that he hasn't caught her hand to leave. Jhanvi asks Omkara to bring Gauri and ask him to get her with all love and respect. Shivaay compliments  Anika saying she is looking extremely beautiful. They share some romantic moments while Pinky looks on feeling jealousy. 

The engagement ceremony begins. Pinky fulfils the rituals half-heartedly. Anika and Shivaay steal some romantic moments with each other. Shivaay gifts Anika a new set of bangles. Anika gets emotional to which Shivaay resists but then she says this is her way of saying thank you.

Shivaay and Anika dance on their engagement and celebrate love. Later, they try to bridge the difference between Omkara and Gauri during the performance. The entire family dances their heart out. Later, Sahil comes out and is seen dancing while Nayantara interrupts Shakti and Pinky. Shivaay takes Sahil to a safe place. 

Anika later tells Gauri about how she met Shivaay and tries to embarrass him. She accidentally says that she is trying to teach her how we fell in love and indirectly confesses her love while Shivaay teases her.
