Ishqbaaz May 18 written update: Shivaay asks an emotional Anika to accept that Nayantara is her mother
Shivaay tells Anika that Nayantara is her mother.
The episode starts with Anika confronting Nayantara on why did she push Pinky. Pinky instigates Anika's agitation by fake crying. Nayantara tries to expose Pinky in front of Anika but fails too. Anika doesn't pay heed to any of Nayantara's words and asks her to leave the house.
Anika later offers water to Pinky as Pinky continues to fake cry. Anika apologises for Nayantara's behaviour. Pinky tries to taunt Anika again but Anika says that she is sure Nayantara is not her mom. Shivaay enters at the same time, Anika rushes to him to get the DNA reports. Shivaay tells Anika that it is a match and that she is Nayantara's daughter which shocks Anika to the core.
Shivaay tries to calm Anika but Anika stays in denial mood, she says the report is false. Anika is not ready to accept that Nayantara is her mom. Shivaay hugs her and asks her to accept the truth. In the meanwhile, Pinky tries to add fuel to the fire and taunts Anika. Shivaay asks Pinky to stop it and to accept the truth. He tells Pinky that since it has now been proved that she is Anika's mother, Nayantara will now stay in Oberoi mansion only.
Pinky gets a shock hearing this. Nayantara taunts her saying that time changes in no minute. Pinky lashes at Nayantara but Nayantara gives it back to her. Anika is still reeling under shock after seeing the DNA reports. Anika recalls Shivaay saying that everything was fine. She confronts Shivaay that why did he lie to her but Shivaay asks her to just accept the reality.
Shivaay is pained to see Anika in such a dire state. Later Nayantara and Pinky get into a banter. Nayantara gets Shivaay involved in this.
Shivaay later lashes at Nayantara in isolation and asks him where is Sahil. In the flashback, we see Sahil calling Shivaay for help. Nayantara tells Shivaay that she lauds his attitude to confront her knowing that Sahil is with her. She warns Shivaay that Sahil will be alright till she is fine.
